And whoever tried to make the comparison using QB ratings doesn’t know much about football. QB rating is mostly a stupid stat, it rewards guys who are dink and dunk passers and make safe throws with a high completion percentage. It’s by no means a great measure of a quarterback.
Dude - I was the one that used the QB ratings. To say it is a worthless stat shows what you know. You used absolutely no objective proof to make your points, and you slam the only objective numbers used in this discussion.
You are as much a cheerleader as Saquatch.
I find it humorous that someone from New Hampshire thinks they know as much about football as someone from Texas - especially an avid football guy from Texas. It is not a sport here - it is a religion. Hell - my daughter knows the difference between a cover-2 and man coverage - and she’s a 7th grader.
Cheerleaders prove their uselessness when presented with facts - much like you just did. You guys don’t even start paying attention to the sport until you are old enough to play it.

I think we are gonna upset the Chargers.
Belichick always manages to bring a whole different type of gameplan into the playoffs. He will be prepared on Sunday.

I don’t think it would be considered too much of an upset if the Patriots won.
As for who is the best - Brady isn’t fit to hold Troy’s, or Roger’s dirty jock straps. Everyone knows that Cowboys trump Patriots.

What OBJECTIVE fact are you using to say that Tom Brady isn’t as good as Staubach or Aikman? You surely not basing it on stats or superbowls.
Furthermore I don’t think Jimmy Johnson could have built the team he did in the 90’s with current economics of the NFL; Conversely can you imagine how much stronger this Patriots team would have been in the early 90’s where they could have kept more players and signed better ones?

Roger missed the playoffs only one season in his 10-year career and has 2 rings. Aikman has 3 rings. Plus they played for Dallas. Just wearing The Star makes you better than playing for anyone else.
If you can’t recognize sarcasm - I can’t help you. If you will look at my posts I never say whether I think Rivers or Brady is the better QB. It’s the cheerleaders on here that are creaming their pants over Brady. I just posted some facts.
If’s and but’s - If’s and but’s. They had a salary caps back then. I remember Troy reworking his contract to keep the triplets together.
In point of fact, it wasn’t the open payroll structure that allowed the Cowboys to win 3 rings in 4 years - it was the Herschel Walker trade.

I suck Brady’s dick.
You are another guy that doesn’t seem to understand football is a team game.
Brady’s receivers are weak this year. The guy has had some pretty damn good receivers over the years and Brady always got all the credit for their good play. Now you want to blame his receivers for Brady’s mediocre year?
You cannot have it both ways. Brady is simply a good qb. There are a number of good ones in the league.
I would like to see Dungy and Manning win one…they’ve worked hard over the years and fallen short. There also may…and I stress MAY be a “window of opportunity” closing for the Colts…
BUT…
New England just has “something”…and that “something” is Bellichek and Brady…

It should be a great game. I’ll take the Pats 31-28.
You had the Pats by 3 and that’s how they took the game, good call!
Wow, I have to five-twelve, what a game… Absolutely awesome.
I think Marty might have cost them the game with that crazy challenge on the obvious interception/fumble. They lost an invaluable timeout that may have gotten them 5-10 yards closer (or more the way they were moving the football right then) that could’ve brought it to OT.
I don’t know that that was why, and I only say that because he congratulated one Patriot (forget who it was) and then as Kevin Faulk ran over to him he tried to run right by him and get away from him…
I don’t know if it was a personal thing or if maybe it was about the celebration, but he sure did seem pretty upset.

This is pretty much Marty’s game to lose. He has proven that he can take any 12-win team and coach them straight to a playoff loss.

And he proved it yet again. Throwing the challenge flag with 4 minutes left? Calling timeout just seconds ahead of the 2-minute warning?
My God.
Congrats to the Patriots - but they owe Schottenheimer a huge huge thank you. This is almost as good a gift as the one the Cowboys handed the Seahawks last week.
Was Marty crying at his post game press conference? I hope he is mad at himself. Once again he was outcoached. Going for it on 4th and 11 instead of kicking the field goal??? Challenging the fumble after the interception??? He could have used that timeout at the end of the game.
