Changing Macros, Need Advice

I personally have white rice everyday before weightlifting
But I love downing a few sweet potatoes or pumpkins pretty often, these add up pretty quickly in carb count and have a significant amount of vitamins and minerals.

Sweet potatoes are basically on the same level as white rice when it comes to being excellent carb sources. That goes for white potatoes as well.

Completely agree. For me its one of the best carb sources out there which digests perfectly especially like the Jasmine rice. I still like my bread and been using it on the daily during cutting and now bulking without any problems whatsoever. Used to eat oats for more then a decade but now I have problems with digestion of it and since I’ve done research on them they seem a double edged sword, for some good, for others not so. So can’t beat white rice and love me some bread as well :slight_smile: Getting micros from fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes etc fwiw.

Right on the money. Love white and sweet potatoes as well. Maybe, and just maaaybe with years I’ve noticed a bit less effective digestion of white potatoes then before but still great carb source nonetheless.
