Don’t see many bodybuilders doing this. Linford Christie Plyometric Training - YouTube
And Lebron James who is considered one of the best athletes in the world doing full body - YouTube.
Why are you fighting a losing battle?

You guys are missing the point, why would I train like a bodybuilder to be like an athlete? Why train like Ronnie Coleman when I want to be like GSP?
How about you try the combat and conditioning forums and stop trolling?
Why even bring all this shit up here, if not to annoy people?
Professor X, any time now buddy…
I suggest you start mimicking those workouts you posted. I’m sure those will make you a great athlete…
Why are you even in here?
Why are you posting off topic stuff on my created topic. You have had no input about the spreadsheets so stop crying. Also i’m a d1 college basketball player. So whatever.

Are you seriously suggesting that bodybuilders don’t use plyos (or worse, are incapable of using them)? CT has made plyos a huge component in his bodybuilding training, but it’s not a new development: I have a book, published over fifteen years ago, which suggests possible applications for plyos in a bodybuilding program (including pre-exhaust and bridging the gap between maximum strength and absolute strength).
Besides that, your argument holds no water. Many athletes can’t do what Christie does. Find a vid of GSP doing that. By your logic, he should be able to just by doing TBT…shouldn’t he?

I’m fighting a “losing battle” when I present you with an example of a world-class athlete who uses split training while you imply that every successful athlete on the planet uses TBT? I think you’ve wandered into the wrong forum. Either that or you’re the second coming of Dankid.

Yes, we are aware that you’re no rocket scientist. Thanks for pointing that out, captain obvious.
And why can’t I troll in a thread created for the purpose of trolling? You’re being completely unfair. And a racist.
Ok ill get the GSP vid for you of GSP jumping hurdles. Georges St. Pierre - Protect This House. I WILL - YouTube Whats the next task Captain?
You havn’t provided any evidence that Christie uses split training. References would be nice. However, where did i slate split training? HINT read my third post. Then read up on WS4SB. Thank you!

(But you’re still cool. Not many people around who play fullbody-mma-sprint-ball. Really, props for that)

Don’t worry bro, you’re nowhere near fat. Don’t go cutting on us now!

You are missing the point, why would you start a thread looking for a program called ANTI bodybuilding in a bodybuilding forum??

Oh, well, that makes you a lot less cool. But you totally want to do MMA. Admit it.
And stop being a racist. It causes brain-cancer.
I’m only looking out for you, man.
Charged wrote:

Crucially, unlike Christie, he didn’t do it on one leg. If GSP had trained like a 100m sprinter, he could’ve done that - but then he wouldn’t have won as many fights…D’oh!
LOL @ “references”. References are for job interviews… you are a very pedantic basketball player looking for spreadsheets for Waterbury programs. On a bodybuilding forum…nothing more to say.
I’m sure you’re more than capable of finding the references yourself by using the dazzling Google skills that led you to the Waterbury spreadsheets in the first place. Oh wait - that was me.
I really regret sending you anything Charged. At first you didn’t bother me but now you are just being a douche.
Thanks Charged, your thread gave me a nice chuckle :). See your thread served some PURPOSE!!
Wouldnt a d1 college basketball program have a strength and conditioning coach providing you with programs year round?

How dare you bring common sense into a thread dedicated to toasters!

The problem with toasters is that they are only good for making toast.

What’s wrong with toast?
The more toast you have, the more ice-cream you can buy.
