I work hard and eat lots, gained a couple pounds in the past couple of weeks. I lost strength.
Did a couple of pullups. Then hit failure. I can only do a couple pullups, they’re very hard.

They are very hard.
On days where they are simply too much I like to do pulldowns, even at less than bodyweight.

Took a week off from the gym. Got back yesterday. Decided to try a volume system. Nothing special, just load up as many sets as I can take.

OH press machine
seated row
Dip machine
Pulldowns
chest press machine
kettlebell shrugs.

Bench press. First time I benched in a couple months, just doing machines then. Not bad, was able to do 95 lbs for reps pretty strongly.

Barbell OH press got up to 40 lbs, good
