Cartoons You Still Watch

Hrmm
Lets see if I remember the intro lyrics to the song -

I am storm that builder refused,
I am the inspirational that made ladies sing the blue,
I am the …

Fuck i only know the first 2 lines DAMMIT!

I watch Bleach when it’s not on filler episodes. Japanese with English subs only, the Adult Swim version makes the 15 year old main character sound 40.

The classic Warner Bros cartoons
South Park
Futurama
Various animated movies if they’re on – Madagascar for example. It seems to me that a higher percentage of animated movies are to my liking than is the case with movies in general.

Tom and Jerry
Bugs Bunny

I loved that show as a kid. Don’t remember a lot about it, but was digging through some old shit a few years ago and still had a few of the toys. Also, The Simpsons seasons 3-9 is the greatest show of all-time. I watch 'em often.

Some newer cartoons I like:

Ben 10 (fun cartoon about a boy who can turn into any one of 10 aliens)

Star Wars (on the Cartoon Network at 9pm Fridays, it’s much better than the new movies, very entertaining).

Cartoons kicka dem buttz.

Just watched Samurai Jack for the first time in years yesterday. I was really surprised with it. Seemed like it was geared a lot more toward adults than children, which is probably why it got canceled. Might’ve just been that episode, though. I don’t remember much of the series very well.

Saw a clip of Rocko’s Modern Life the other day. I’m really wanting to go back and watch those again.

there is archer for anyone thats interested…

and i forgot

Futurama as well

I’ve loved cartoons since I was a kid.

Some of those old shows can stand the test of time. Thundarr the Barbarian was a childhood favorite, and sometimes I run across it on cable late at night. Can’t help but to watch it.

Other Shows I enjoy:
Reruns of Avatar: The Last Air Bender
Venture Brothers
Bleach
Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Through Netflix I’m alternating discs of Battlestar Galactica and Samurai Jack. My room mate has the Clone Wars animated shorts on DVD, and those are always good watch.

My own DVD library includes:
Ninja Scroll
Spriggan
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Everything Ghost In The Shell related
The whole Fleischer Superman run

No need to feel bad about watching cartoons. When the networks seem to air nothing but cop dramas, doctor dramas, lawyer dramas, and crime scene dramas then cartoons are pretty much the only place watch anything original.

Awesome, this was my favorite cartoon growing up, i think about it about once a month or so but couldn’t remember the name. I watched most of the movies as well. Cartoons are awesome.

Absolutely this!

I have several volumes of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVDs and watch them all the time.

Has Anybody ever seen the Nick show “Penguins of Madagascar”? Fuck that show is freaken hilarious the show seriously seemed aimed towards adults. Here is Short of the Christmas Special that came with the first Madagascar DvD.

Loony Fuckin’ Toons.

Funny you mentioned Penguins of Madagascar, I asked my 12 year old yesterday what cartoons were good lately because of this thread, and he immediately responsed with Penguins. He said it’s off the charts funny. I will have to check it out.

I also 2nd the old Star Wars Clone Wars DVD’s, by the same guy who did Samurai Jack. They really were amazing, I pop them in from time to time. They completely outdid the new Star Wars movies in terms of storyline, action, character development, and overall kickass factor. There is a lightsaber duel between Anakin and Asaj-Ventress in the 1st season that is excellent.
