When in doubt, just floor it. Saved my ass a few times doing that with quattro, although i dint have any driver aids like the new models have. [/quote]
100% this. Unlike RWD, gas gets you out of trouble most of the time with AWD.

parents owned one before i could drive, and i’ve worked at the local Porsche/Audi dealer and have some seat time. Best vehicle ever made.

I’ve been driving my friend’s. I love it. I really want one but it will leave me without as much money as I’d like - ie, can’t really afford it / can’t justify the cost.

I dont know what the prices are like where you’re at, but a used 996Turbo will cost roughly the same as that new S4 in the states.

They cost a lot more here. All cars do, especially luxury cars.

This advice is hilarious. (Not saying it’s wrong, it’s just funny.)
I just got a valentine 1 for my M3. Way too easy to drive fast in that thing.
…and I’ll cut about an hour off my trip to Yosemite this weekend. ![]()

I had a couple incidents in the snow where i had to either laugh it off, or i was going to have a panic attack. IE. losing control on the highway, pointed the wheel back on the road, floored it, and prayed. Inertia demanded the car go into a ditch, quartto had other ideas.
I’ve been driving an Audi for about two weeks and I’ve already been pulled over four times for a “random” breath test. That’s where they clock me, stalk me, pull me over; is this your car mate? Is it registered to you? We just get a lot of these cars stolen see. Fucking cocksuckers. I got pulled over maybe every couple of years in the Commodore.
Based on your past posts, and the fact it’s been 4 times in 2 weeks, im going to side with the cops.
Word gets around when you drive a flashy new car like an asshole everywhere. They might not catch you in the act of driving recklessly, but they’ll want to get you for something once you’re on their radar.

Never had a crash in 20 years. Constantly dodging cocksuckers who cut me off. Been rear ended twice. I’m not the one with driving skill deficiencies.

Those are truly awful wheels.
Some bitch out there got his ride pimped. My rims are black with dirt, grease and oil and that’s the way I likes it.

Those wheels are the automotive equivalent of the Xmas fruitcake. Nobody wants it and you just keep passing it on.

Sorry bud, gonna have to side with aggv on this one.
Not having driving skill deficiencies =/= not driving like an asshole and being on a cops radar.

Explain how in a city of nearly five million people the police from several different areas would “get to know” I’ve been driving “like an asshole?” Besides, I don’t drive like an asshole. I don’t put other drivers in danger. However, other drivers are constantly putting me in fucking danger. The most common thing they do is change lanes without looking; ie, change lanes into me and I have to brake hard or in some cases swerve to avoid them. And being a highly skilled driver I check behind / blind spot before I swerve to avoid them. So no, they’re the fucking assholes. I’m a safe and skilled driver.
Please no more shit about my driving. Are you telling me you don’t drive fast? What are you driving 330+hp car for then? Cut the crap. We all like to drive fast.
There is a time and place. If you’re constantly being put in danger by “other drivers”; then it’s glaringly obvious you’re playing paul walker at the wrong time and the wrong place.
The “it’s a 300hp car, i have to drive it fast” excuse only works if you’re 16.
