Cardio w/ Waterbury Total Body Training?

Please do not take this post as stupid.

I am about to start Chad Waterbury’s total body training style of lifting and had a question. The program is designed for hypertrophy and that is what I want. Size. But I try very hard to make this quality size I have a great diet and am about 10 percent body fat.

My question is this, can I do some cardio on my off days? If there is a huge problem with this, I read about only getting results in one type of muscle fiber and not the other, I would like to know.

Note, I am not trying to decrease body fat while increasing muscle, that would be plain stupid. I am trying to increase muscle and keep body fat steady. Is it okay to do light cardio, for the sake of MAINTAINING a low body fat not making it lower, while in a hypertrophy based program, or am I seriously risking results?

I think you would just need to eat more to compensate, depending on the length and intensity of your cardio.
