I would lift first.
Lift first.
At the beginning of a cut, keep cardio to a minimum, and tighten up your diet to promote bodyfat loss. You can add cardio at a later date if fat loss stalls.
Always lift first.
First, you’ll be able to put you total energy into your lifts. Cardio would suck it out of you and you performance would suffer. Second, lifting jacks up your metabolism and releases growth hormone, meaning your cardio will burn even more fat afterwards.
