Cardinal Fitness Gym?

my uncle just got me a membership to cardinal fitness and i’m used to working out in my basement at 2am so i am not used to commercial gyms. does anyone know about maybe some unusual rules that cardinal has or what would be a time of day where the gym is less crowded?

Cardinal Fitness? I sure all that flying around all day keeps them in pretty good shape.

if i train any earlier i am tired for the rest of the day

I tend to feel like death immediately after the workout and then feel much more refreshed during the day. Try some Surge

Cardinal fitness in a nutshell

  1. No Chalk allowed (dumbest rule ever).

  2. Very cheap. Only like 20.00 a month.

  3. Mostly Lifefitness and Hammer Strength Equipment.

  4. Only 1 squat rack, which usually has someone doing a serious 10x10 bicep curl workout in it, or maybe some shrugs.

  5. Lots of idiots. It attracts a lot of novices because of the price and no contracts. Usually talking loudly about how hammered they were last night. I actually counted one day, and of the 16+ guys there at that time I was the only one without the sleeves cut off my shirt. Just wear your hat cocked sideways and hike one of your pant legs up a little and you’ll blend right in.

  6. Its busiest from 3:30 to 8:00, just like any other gym. Mon. and Tues. are busiest, also like any other gym. Wed. thru Sat. are party nights, so the crowd thins out.

The only reason I go there is the price and the fact that there are no other options in my area.

I feel you with the late night workouts thats when my energy levels are the best too, maybe not 2am but i like it late. I also don’t like really crowded gyms and if you normally work out alone in your basement I’m guessing you don’t either so I would do on off hours. BigBen72 pretty much hit it 330-8 is going to be busy i try to get to the gym 9 or later. My gym closes at 11 so i’ll try to get there between 930-945.
