Carbohydrates for the Muscles

Why weren’t you invited to be a judge again? I forget.

It’s because he didn’t eat enough carbs

My old Camaro used to eat up carbs too. Couldn’t afford to keep fixing that thing, but damn was it a fun first car. Learned to drive stick shift because of it too.

By the way, if anyone wanted an answer to the question “why do people rag on the HIT section of the forums”. This. This is the reason.

Those dudes made the Jones gang look like the James gang.

Except that the James gang was actually really good!

In a row,

Did it eat drive nodes also? I mean because of too much spinning on objects you didn’t like?

Those judges were probably bought and sold. How many controversies have there been in that competition? It’s not judged fairly.

Unless the person you’re rooting for wins.

Ill bet '79 was super fair and completely objective, huh?

You lost your grip on reality awhile ago. All I did was say that Dr. Darden stated that muscles thrive from carbohydrates and that I thought that Zane could have been better if he had eaten a more balanced diet (i.e. some more carbs) rather than the high-protein, low-carb diet that he ate and you flipped out!

You’re right. They should have a new category for “carb-eaters” and “no-carbs”. The people eating carbs have such an advantage that it’s completely unfair to those who don’t eat carbs!

OP, PLEASE post a pic. Cut your head off it, stay anonymous. I’ve gotta know what having superior nutritional knowledge than the bodybuilders you’ve named does for someone without amazing genetics and (I’m assuming) no steroids. That’s most of us here. Give us some hope, man.

So a fringe competitive hobby (sorry, bodybuilding is not a sport) where the scoring is determined by opinion might not have a rock solid track record? You don’t say.

You don’t think that at least some of the Mr. Olympia competitions have been fixed? How about the 1972, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1997 were highly, highly suspect competitions?

I never said that I had superior nutritional knowledge. I never even implied it.

You don’t find these two statements contradictory?

Nope.

Samir definitely deserved the W in 83. He May have achieved the best physique I’ve ever seen at that show.

I don’t totally disagree with you. I would have Bertil at no. 1, then Samir. But I am not against Samir winning that competition. The real controversy was having Bertil at no. 5.

Dorian Yates ate high carb

The current Mr Olympia Big Ramy recommends high carb
