Carb powders

I go to the wine supply stores in town to buy my powdered dextrose. But when I ask for maltodextrin, they look at me like I have 2 heads. They do have Hi-Malt Glucose Solids ?? They thought this was maltodextrin. Any ideas ??? What about the liquid glucose they have there??

Why don’t you just buy some dry malt powder from a homebrew store? If you don’t like it, then you could make beer out of it :wink:
