Haha, I blame the promoter in this case. She’s never really been successful in making 140 yet they continue to slot her in there. Just make her fight at 145 or 150 already.

I agree with all above, but she is looking good… On a more serious note, very unprofessional, and this does nothing good for the legitimacy of womens MMA. Travis Lutter missed by 1-2 pounds and is ostracized for it. 4.5lbs over is a huge amount. I understand she was just taping American gladiators but that bullshit wouldn’t fly for a man. Floyd Mayweather filmed dancing with the stars while prepping for the Hatton fight, but he brought it come fight night.

Gary Shaw is a piece of shit. How many times is this going to happen before somebody is willing to step and say no. Fucking made up weight class for her, and she can’t even make weight for that. I hope she epicly destroyed.

If you miss by 4.5 pounds, you didn’t even try. I can’t believe people keep putting up with this bullshit.

anyway Gina did give part of her purse to Kaitlyn because she missed weight so it didn’t turn out all bad for her. I’d take an extra however much to fight someone heavier.
