In the world of the super rare. Everybody knows the '57 Testarossa, very few knows the '58 412 S and 412 MI. This car was producing 447 HP out of a 4.0 liter V12, but what’s unique about the engine was that it had 2 spark plugs per cylinder. Imagine doing a tune up on that?
This engine is a work of art. It’s just flat pretty.
Ferrari recently opened up their own custom shop. Now you can special order anything you want from them and it still be a legit, documented real Ferrari. It’ll cost you, but I think it’s cool. This is Eric Clapton’s special order giving homage to his favorite Ferrari (and mine) the 512 BB.
Of course, if I had the money, I order one with that 4.0 v12 above put in the engine bay.
And this to me, is the most beautiful 4 door sedan I have ever seen. The Aston Martin Rapide. This is sex on wheels. I would take this over a lot of sports cars, hands down. In person it’s just stunning, pictures don’t do it justice.

call me crazy but this has always been my dream car. 1991 BMW e30. So sick.

Crazy…
But’s it’s purdy. I wouldn’t mind having a '90’s M3 either. It was just so raw and good. But I don’t want a car I need to fix, or fix up. I just don’t have the time and the tools to make that enjoyable.
Right now, the last gen Z4 M roadster is really appealing. I just like that car so much. All BMW, and not overwhelmed with techno doodads. Most of them are pretty low mileage from what I have seen. So you can pick up a good, low mileage example pretty cheap.
That, or a 5.0 mustang. Polar opposites, but each car tickles my spot, they just do it differently.
YW… I usually cringe at doing vile things to cars like that, but that was well done and a great demonstration of how capable that car really is.
Sadly, most of the yo-yo’s who can afford and buy cars like that never have fun in them. There are few who know how to have a good time.
That’s why I couldn’t see me spending millions on a super exclusive car, you can’t drive it really. And I want to drive it. That’s what cars are for. (Not that I could afford one anyway, but still)
Shit happens to cars, it’s an inherent risk. If you have a car where only 30 were made, it’s basically museum fodder. What’s the fun in that?
I thought of you when I watched the car chase between the camaro and the corvette in Arnold’s movie The Last Stand.
I thought to myself if Pat saw this he would cry.
If you haven’t seen it, bring a tissue because you may shed a tear when you see what I am talking about.
I told my husband: I can’t believe they destroyed that corvette…( I was in awe of the car the whole movie ).

And I agree completely with what you said above.

Like I did at the end of Ferris Bueller’s Day off…Thank God it was a replica.
RE Nissan. That’s exactly what I’m looking for: Long lasting engine and one can easily carry motorcycles while getting 30mpg.
Same here.
Plus my paddle boards.

Ram to come out with a close to 30mpg 1500. Sign me up for the Extended Cab Long Wheel Base Manual 4x4.
You are very lucky.
That is the only truck I cannot have because I think it is ultra male.
Even if I ordered that in marshmallow pink I think it would still look butch for a woman.
I do, however, have to see it to believe it that it will come out as a manual.
My guess is an 8 speed automatic transmission to achieve that kind of mileage.
A brave move from Chrysler since Toyota has failed totally in my eyes when they already have the Hilux EVERYWHERE in the world ( said with the Jeremy Clarkson accent ) and many other diesel engines and will not bring anything into the US market.
VW also big disappointment with pickup I would have bought in a heart beat: the Amarok.

I think the Rams are the best looking of the big 3 trucks. Definitely not a feminine car. Maybe if you put those headlight eye lashes on it…
I agree Toyota has completely failed with their refusal to bring the Hilux here. Actually, I would love to have one of those 4x4 Kei trucks, even though they’re probably death traps.
