Just came across this picture of Mentez and had to share it.
capped delt. you just gotta sound it out.
Gotta love Mentzer. I think a lot of people forget just how diesel he was because he just seemed a little off his rocker during his later years.

This pic blows my mind, looks like he was in the middle of a set of cable flys before stopping to chat with Weider going by the wicked pump he has going.
I like to forget about the spell where he went off on his own tanget and appreciate what he achieved with his physique which was mind blowing.

Can someone explain what a capped delt is?
Look at Mentzer’s shoulder. The ‘heads’ (especially the medial aspect) stand out in bold relief, almost as if someone put a ‘cap’ ontop of hi structure. It’s just a slang term. It’s a cooler way of saying “nice shoulders dude”.
