New on here we’ll fist forum I ever been on in me life any long story short retired from fighting at 40 bord shitless so needed a new obsession so started body building at 44 and my body just loved it went from 16 stone to 20 in 2 years but I try and try with the diat cardio but I just can’t shift this last body fat any advice any thing would be greatly appreciated
So you are 280lb with the last bit of bodyfat to shift? My only advice at this point would be to clear a space for an olympia trophy.
Am 16 17 stone with with out lifting a weight I was 15 stone at 13 am asking a genuine question last bit of fat a mean I can pinch a good inch Al figure it out me self
I can do alright with kg to lb conversions, but the whole Stone measurement makes absolutely no sense to most americans - which I believe are the predominant crowd on this forum (there are MANY who are not from the US too).
Care to post an anonymous physique pic and more specific goals for more specific advice?
To some, “this last bit of fat” means the last 2-3% remaining before you’ve hit single digit BF%.
To others, it means a few inches around the belt or more.
^a picture and specific goals helps us help you.
OK am around 124kg now you have explained I am well over lost few pounds before single digits and I don’t want to be 5% but I am try hard it’s alian to me as when I was fighting a ram 3 to 6 miles a day and a good two hours bag pads conditaning sparing my traing on point I am in calories defacit around 3100 but I just can’t seem to shift the fat that’s left lol I apologise for my bad explanation and confusion
How tall are you?
5/11
My good sir, and this happens to all of us, there are most likely a couple things in play:
- It’s a good bit more fat than you think it is
- Your calories will have to get lower than you want
- You’re not eating as low of calories as you think
If you can lay out some real detail (actual food log, etc), we can give some specific advice. It’s really going to boil down to the above 99% of the time.
5,11 and 280lb, well based on this alone, my only advice unless you post a picture that proves otherwise is to eat less and walk more. Keep protein high, lower carbs.
I will do Al track what am eating for a couple of days and put it on here its a completely alian to me wen I was boxing I ate about the same but ran 3 to 6 miles 4 times a week and then boxing traing ie pads bags sparring some weights now am training my ass of but only for an hour or so push pull legs day of repeet bodybuilding wieght training is like learning to walk again lol
Yeah, I hear you. Totally different worlds. When I left the army, I immediately gained 30 lbs. because my activity levels were so much lower
