Kind of related story, but no worse of a hijack than has already happened with the trolling.
A company I used to work for got bought by bigger company. One day I noticed a few of sites where blocked. One was for a lottery company, the other for a brewery. They objected to gambling and alcohol.
The thing was, they where our sites. I maintained them on our servers. But they didn’t care. Rules where rules.
It took a over a month and me going to the VP of the company to make the other department realized they had to stop blocking the sites my department was maintaining.
