I’m slightly surprised by all the boxer briefs comments. If it’s hot out and I get a little sweaty I can’t stand Boxer Briefs… They make the chaffing worse IMO.
Back in the day when I used to have to run a lot I was a Body Glide man for sure. That stuff is a life saver.
Dude X and I live in Houston, the fucking sun is cooler.
You do know you dont wear the boxer briefs low right, I know you swing low with the pants, but the briefs need to be snug up to the boys.
For real.
LOL at someone talking to someone from Texas about the heat.

Cali no less? its like 72 degrees year around where he is, they actually sell cars at dealerships that DO NOT have AC in them.
^^hahaha I spent quite a bit of time “in the desert” for work on a few occasions, where it was 90 degrees by 7 in the morning while wearing tons of gear. I know a little bit about heat. I live in San Diego now but where I was from before here was more desert and was 100+ all summer…

Hahahaha sorry. I should have known that truth and logic have no place in GAL!
I made all that other stuff up. I actually live in Alaska… The really frozen part.

I have not worn slacks in years, the job I currently work for last 3.5, when I met my boss I told him sorry I dont wear slacks. You have to accept the blue jeans and boots.
I cant stand buying clothes and have to get something tailored would be just be torture to me. But I live in Texas and I do medicine for oil fields etc.
Now scrubs are fucking easy to wear, swing low and lets the boys breath.

I am in a bad position because none of my dress shirts or pants fit me right now…and it is now harder to find clothes because of the waist change.
I actually have two belts I’ve used on and off over the last 7 years that no longer fit at all. Luckily I had an old one from school tucked away.
I am usually wearing scrub pants, but it would seem occasions to dress up pop up when you can’t wear the clothes.

Dress clothes are hard because you can’t get away with having them just fit a bit loosely like you can with regular clothes cause they look like shit.
I’m running into this now because I’m buying my own tuxedo for my wedding in December. No stores around here (went to 3) had jackets that were my size and I don’t even need a huge jacket. Then I got the tux in and the pants that go with that size coat are about 6-8 inches too big in the waist so the tailor has to basically re make the pants completely so they fit.
It’s kinda a hassle but it’ll be great to have it custom fit just for me. Pretty pumped on that.

Semi-related: what about shirts? I kinda chunked up for a while so I wasn’t too worried about wearing shirts that fit well (gotta hide the fatness) but I’m cutting down now and I’m finding that a lot of my t-shirts that fit me well/look good in the upper part of my torso (chest/shoulders area) are weird and drapey in the waist, and I still end up looking blocky and bad. The shirts I have that fit me well in the waist are skin tight higher up.
I’m sure dressing nicer and wearing shirts I could tuck in would help…but I’m still in college, and in Florida…so shorts and t-shirts are gonna be a staple for a while.
I got a few “athletic fit” shirts, but even those end up puffing out around my waist some. I’d like to find a shirt that just fits well everywhere…recommendations on brands/styles/anything? Or do you guys just have to try a lot of stuff on and hope you find something that fits right?
