Can't Even Believe This Man

Holy crap, WTF ?

It doesn’t seem that he even lifts big weights. Seem to focus on slow motion and feeling the muscle, rows with 26 kilos DBs is laughable for his size (even if he’s on deload, etc.)

Why isn’t this kid on T-Nation? It doesn’t make any sense…

Since there’s a bit of debate over the weight of genetics, thought I’d share an interesting article.

Well, I’m not sure if this is the type of thing you can judge based off of a quick video clip.

Really? Oh right, it couldn’t possibly be that the “wiz” had overbearing parents who wouldn’t accept anything less then perfect… It couldn’t possibly be that he just put the work in and studied his ass off…

There is no secret routine or diet, well diet timing maybe but no big secret anything. Its all genetics meaning down to every nerve in his body is more tuned for doing what he is doing, He probably produces less miostatin than most, he probably has better muscle bellies and more or less fast or slow twitch fibers.

Lucky fucker but who cares, fuck other people.Find motivation when you need it and go balls to the walls when youre at the gym.Anyone can improve and improving is the name of the game.

I will never look like that guy but I will allways look better than if I had never started lifting at all.[/quote]
You bring up a good point which I’d like to magnify. Think about self-image. It seems to me part of bodybuilding has to be in drastically morphing your own individual self-image. If people meet a massive guy, they won’t be as impressed I don’t think as if they meet their shrimp of a college buddy 5 years (or however long) later looking like this massive specimen.

The contrast of transformation is big, not just for others but for yourself as well.

If you were big and ripped your whole life, wouldn’t you take it for granted? Sure, it’s cool, but you just kinda have it. You don’t care one way or the other (or so you think).

How about if you were always really fat or really skinny to the point it became a big deal and people made fun of you? Well, becoming an adonis through hard work and dedication, the drive to become what you envision and then ATTAINING it…, well that’s huge.

I’ll be honest. A lot of guys using AAS dont lift weights that would be expected of someone their size (assuming the person is big). This is especially true on isolation movements. Seemingly endless sets can be done to jack the volume up to crazy levels. Some bodybuilders prefer extremely high volume to build their muscles. Other guys prefer extremely intense sets with less volume.

It’s safe to say though that he is capable of much more than you see in that single video. I’d also bet that he does lift heavy weights at some point in his routine. If you look around you can find videos of Ronnie Coleman preacher curling 45lb dumbells. Just a video of a single event.

Basically my point is that shit changes for people with very very high levels of androgens and large quantities of food in their system.

Talent and work go together hand in hand to develop.

“You doctor yet?”

“No, Dad, I’m twelve!”

“Talk to me when you doctor!”

Well yeah, I was wrong.
I did some research about this guy, he posts on a Russian forum. I will translate some interesting info later if anyone wants it.

Brag about that only after you have done it, not before.

Pretty much… and I never understood hard work until I went to china a few years back in high school band. Those kids work hard in school because that’s the only way they will survive, change my outlook on education tbh.

I was a guest teacher for a day at a high school English class in southern China last year. Towards the end of the class, one of the students asked me to tell him something about America. I said ‘Kids in America go to school for maybe 8 hours. They rarely do more than an hour of homework a day, until they’re in high school, when they might do two or three. Weekends are generally free. ‘Weekends’ include Saturday’

The kids just stared at me uncomprehendingly. Their school weeks start at 75 hours, if you include weekends.

Steroids and genetic advantage aside I am still envious of this guy. From now on when I workout I’ll be thinking of this guy who is one year younger than me.

EFFORT MAN, EFFORT!

Ok, some of the info from the forum where he posts:

Stats:
Height : 168 cm
Biceps : 53 cm
Weight : 108 kg off-season, 90 kg category contest
Bench press : 180 x 6
Squat (smith machine) 240 x 8
Deadlift : 210 x 8

He never goes below 6 reps and rarely goes below 10-12.
Training is simple: first do a compound lift, then hit the muscle from all angles with machines, etc.

Ridiculous facts:

  • He only takes protein and other supplements since 2009. He said that no one should take more than 250 grams of protein, and 150-170 is the norm for most. No idea about carbs and fat. Until 2009 he only used liquid amino acids.

  • During 15-17 y.o. he trained karate, and there was a bench with only 80 kg of weights. He trained that 80 kg bench for high reps right away at 15 and it was so easy to him that he referred to it as “empty bar”. Then at 17 he started bodybuilding training and benched 130 x 8 in a month.
