Anyone know the word on paying duty with shipped items? I usually crossed the border and brought them back and declared them for 5% (before HST the might change it…) and most of the time if the order was small enough or there were enough people in the car or whatever they would just let me through without paying duty. However how will it work if i get it shipped to my house, does it skip the duty or am i to pay the deliverer on delivery?

You pay on delivery.
For an order of about 240$ im getting around 40$ of duty fees

Exciting news indeed! Anybody here order from American Nutrition in Hamilton? We’ve used them a few times and they’re pretty good about delivery but I found them to be expensive on anything short of $600+ orders.

the day after i pay $50 for shipping to canada.
Shipping was the primary reason I halted ordering from Biotest.

I just did a $325 order; paid $75 for shipping, and then $25 duty/gst when it came. So the flat rate will def help, but for me it will be more frequent smaller orders.
Wow, Canada is fucked up. Customs AND duty fee’s? What the fuck.
