I know that most people couldn?t look like top level bodybuilders as genetics would eventually come into play. I know also that not everyone could become a top athlete.
However, purely fitness wise could anyone become super fit?
I know that fitness isn?t the most specific term as it can mean different things to different people, but say could you take a healthy male in his early twenties, who?s never really trained before, and make him super fit. Let?s say fit means strong, fast and with good cardio.

It just takes time. There are allot of FFB (former fat-bastards) here, including myself.
It takes time/dedication…not to mention nutrition, good effort, and time in the gym.
Yes you absolutely can. It’s a mental thing. You’ll notice everyone coming out of the military bootcamp looks great and is in supershape, evethough some of them going in were flabby as can be. It just goes to show you that if you put in the work you’ll get what you earned.
I also have a personal theory on how to get super fit from my experience in the military. But keep in mind that i am referring to a chuby person, not a 160lb guy looking to cut. If you’re chubby and want to become fit i would highly suggest putting 70% of your energy into cardiovascular training with plenty of time in the gym for bodyweight exercises . I’ve literally seen guys at close to 300lbs at 6’3 with 45 inch waists drop to a pretty cut 230 lbs in 90 days with minnimal weight lifting, on the order of 3 day per week concentrating on the big 3 lifts. But the cardio was 7 days per week for 45-60 min.
I am convinced that if they tried to do this by lifting alone it would have been a road to dissapointment and for most it was. It was only when the cardio was added that they saw dramatic results. And med/high intensity cardio did not seem to burn away muscle, in fact it seemed to beep their legs. Look at the seal training and look at all those guys legs and calves all without weights, just intense cardio.
