Calves w/ Biceps

Somewhere along the line I think I may have read in here that training biceps with calves may not be such a good idea because of the blood flow issue in different extremes of the body.

I have been training them both with equal intensity on the same day for a few months now and I?m proud to say that my arms and calves are the same size.

What are some of your opinions or experiences on this? I typically hit my biceps and calves on Sundays with high intensity, low-rep, high-volume movements, while on Wednesdays or so I will do back and do a few light/easy sets in between pull-ups.

I guess that would make power shrugs and any variation of olympic pulls that work traps/calves together to be obsolete.

I wouldn’t worry too much about pairing calves and biceps.

I gotta call minutia on this one. Much bigger issues to think about for ultimate gains.
