Caloric Intake Choice in a Bulk Diet

So I am on a bulk at the moment (hoping to go from 87 to 100 kilos), and I tend to work pretty well on carbs, and I recognise their importance in a bulking diet (especially if you are carb tolerant), but I have experianced a problem.

I find carbs too filling (I’ve been eating low carb for about 2 months). I could eat almost unlimited amounts of protein and fat, and not feel full, but now I am introducing carbs back into my diet, I find that they will leave me full for hours and it gets pretty uncomfortable with the huge amounts I have to eat.

So I can get a much higher caloric intake if I keep to fats and protein, but I know I need carbs for growth.

In my last really sucessfull bulk (which even though I was 16/17 was helped a lot by tribulus) I went from 78kgs to 93kgs (coinciding with playing rugby union as second row), and there wasn’t too much of a problem with fat gain (i’ve never not had the top 2 abs), but I had to add carbs in pretty unhealthy ways to get my calories up, and I would like to avoid doing this (my father and grandmother have type 2 diabetes). Example was taking GNC mass gainer and eating a dutch butter cookie which is basically sugar and fat (got 500 calories from these alone a day).

Has anyone else had the problem with re-introducing carbs back into their diet after staying on a low carb diet? Anything to do except for just adding as many as I can without comprimising calories? (plus probiotics and enzymes)

ps if anyone wants some good low carb calories just ask, cooking is one of my passions, and I really got into it when staying low carb.

After my last cut in november/december when i tried carb cycling i had the exact same problem. A week after i finished cutting i just felt bloated and really full all the time after eating carbs especially weet bix. I ended up adding a little at a time till I was back up to about 350g carbs a day

i wouldnt mind some easy low carb cookie ideas if you got any good ones cheers

Cookie ideas? Never really did many cookies low carb (I don’t like almond meal), but I did make a traditional german cookie thing that was mainly sugar and egg yolk, so some granulated artificial sweetener might work in it. I’ll have a look for the recipe.

Some of the things I can tell you without looking up the recipe are:
Avacado stuffed tomato
Stuffed eggs
Marinated and BBQed baby octopus and prawn
An easy way to cook omelette and good low carb fillings (like crème fraîche and goats cheese)
Baked fish
BBQed fish
Iced mocha
Grilled bread and goats cheese (use only a very thin layer of bread, so practically no carb)
Eggs benedict on fried spinach

Also if anyone has any problems with cooking poached eggs, I can advise on a slightly easier way to do it.
