I’m 6’3" 180 lbs, up from 135ish pounds a year and a half ago. My stats suck compared to most of the serious lifters here, but I’ll wager any day that I work just as hard and have and will continue to make good progress. There are no excuses…especially in bodybuilding, the end result is all you.
Also I’ll be going to med school in two years (already got accepted) and I’m pretty busy with school. Anyways maybe I should log my shit on this site instead of bb.com. A lot of the people there are too concerned with randomass supplements that won’t do much. I’ve got a fucking organic chem exam tomorrow so I’ll post later, but I’m definitely up for an honest callout at any time.

it seems to me the under 25 crowd on this site are the ones doing the most.
Hussayn just did a show, DG has done numerous shows, Waylander is doing pretty good for himself, HolyMac is big and can do a back flip. theres a buncha 500+ squatters and all around stong mofo’s in Strength Sports
the biggest guy at my gym is probaly 24-25 too
ok, theres a bunch of young retards like type2b, jerm, whizkid, who ever that soccer player is etc. you know why? most people get into weight lifting around the same time. except nowadays they have internet access and can fill up more space so what we get is a bunch of people who just discovered weightlifting all coming here and maybe 1/10 or 1/20 even are actually serious about it to make any progress whatsoever. the rest jut come here when BBing is a cool new thing for them but after their newb gains stop and they lose interest they dont go away, they just linger and flood the forums with bullshit.
I have to agree. I like how all of a sudden being a certain age is the only way to be “hardcore.” Age ain’t nothing but a number… you’re either a pussy or you aren’t.
For as many people under 25 that are worthless with poor physiques, I’ll betcha I could find more from people that are OVER 25.
I don’t need to make others “call me out” to give myself a false sense of grandeur. I don’t need anyone to hold my hand through this… And why all of a sudden is everyone deciding to be
‘accountable?’ Shouldn’t this have been the case from day one?[/quote]
Age only came up because of the members in the T-Cell who were supposed to be more serious than average to begin with. I’m early 30’s. Not middle aged. However, it is an observation that many of these people, especially the crowd just hitting college, seems less dedicated.
i lift, eat, sleep repeat now for over three years and read, study, learn everyday about the iron, nutrition, etc., there are a lot of dumb fucks in the Alpha section posting…
To be a good writer you must be a good reader, this principal doesn’t seem to apply on this site.
I PM’d prof X a long time ago asking for advice about gaining size, we’ll he never got back back to me and i’m not mad at him, i’ve gained 40lbs since that time by learning this shit as i go.
Now, i’m 10yrs past 25 but agree w/ the above statements, you either go at this shit hard or you don’t, age is a moot point, you can’t lie because this is Bodybuilding, results are glaring and external, if you kill yourself at the gym and eat correctly, rest etc., with time results will follow. Disclaimer: Genetics will create a wide variance in what the training makes you look like, however unless you are a fucknob, you should, even w/ shitty genetics, look better than the the guy who doesn’t train!
Someone let me into T-Alpha before i go on another killing spree.

Sorry. If I responded to all of them I wouldn’t have time to post. Don’t take it personally.
I’m 24. I work 50-60 hours a week, travel out of state 2-3 times a month for work, and raise 2 boys on my own. Mom doesn’t even take them on the fucking weekends.
I am in the gym 4-5 times a week. Those of you who talk about how you don’t have time to train are full of shit.
I got out of the iron game briefly last march during my divorce, but in May of this year I got right back in with a vengeance.
Here’s my log:
Current stats:
Height: 5’7
Weight: 171
Bench Press: 235
Squat: 315 (no pad, no spot, ATG squat)
Waist: 30"
BF%: 10%
There’s more stats in my log.
Goals:
I’m only looking at the next 8 weeks, and I’m going to get up to 180lbs in that time. All my lifts will go up.

Unfortunately I play in a weight restricted football league where the limit is 172, so after June I’m beginning to cut weight. I don’t see why I still can’t be a part of this and blast my numbers up anyway, which I plan to do.

whether you’re ‘serious’ or not on the forums shouldn’t really be an accurate guage of how dedicated/intense you are in the gym.
unless of course, you meant how serious you are in the gym. in which case, we’re on the same page, and i think you for your time.

Do you have pictures?
I have a really hard time believing your stats, you should be (close to) getting your pro card if that’s true.
