If it makes you feel any better, I’m working on joining you. Spending the rest of the summer and all winter eating everything that doesn’t eat me first. Lifting everything I can, trying to lift that which I can’t.
Hell, I can cut before spring…so can you. Then what’s the skinny ass soccer dude gonna look like?? A skinny ass soccer dude.
thats not to bad, my friend who is about 5’10 270 lbs of mostly bodyfat asked me if “are you still bulking” than chuckled and said “you have a gut now” like it was the funniest thing ever.
(he even took the time to pause his xbox to say this!)

it cracks me up everytime I think about it
But you still have a gut, even though you bulk right?
That’s like the skinny guy saying, he’s not skinny, cuz’ he’s training and eating big. Yeah, maybe. but oyu are skinny today skinny skinster!
I see a lot of people just bulking away, getting a big gut, and then either quit training or never going on a diet, and having the big ol’ gut forever.

WTF? That’s not bulking. That’s called QUITTING and being normal. Some guy who lifts weights everyday but isn’t lean and has quads bigger than most people’s waists and arms bigger than most people’s legs shouldn’t exactly be looked upon as a failure just because he isn’t ripped. Comparing him to guys who quit working out is retarded.
you can’t say a guy is ‘bulking’ if he has never been cut nor will he ever cut
lol
trust me I’m the same I’ve been at 24% bf for like what a year now? and I’m always saying to myself ok ok 3 more months and I’m gonna diet down and cardio

If he indeed is a man with bigger quads than other people waists - then wtf is he doing in here wining about some skinny dickhead called him fat.
It MUST ave bugged him for a reason, don’t you think? I don’t think you would care even a little bit if someone called you fat, in a bulking period. But the threadstarter - man, that’s just whining.

never happens lol
see, so theoretically you are “fat” (play with me here), even though you have a lot of musclemass.

I don’t care. I also didn’t take this thread or the original poster seriously. I DID take your post seriously and told you why. My response to you had nothing to do with the original post.

If you don’t care, then why are you even bothering posting…?

How old are you? That response was purely stupid. I don’t care about anyone calling me “fat” which is what you stated previously. I don’t care because I know what I have accomplished. You can’t even follow your own posts?
now, this bulking and cuttin thing is great if you use steroids… shit I’ve seen guys who were at 20%+ and they lean out like crazy in no time.
for someone who doesnt use gear it’s much harder and change takes much more time
that’s why when sum1 says ‘just eat, eat and then eat sum more’ it’s kinda stupid
it would be quite hard to lose the extra fat
You are just over 220lbs at over 24% body fat. Yes, YOU are fat and need to drop some of that. That’s only a little more than 165lbs of lean body mass on your frame. that might be justified if you were carrying over 220lbs of lean body mass…but you aren’t. No one would tell you to just eat with those stats.
If you don’t care, then why are you even bothering posting…?

You probably are fat. A lot of guys want to mistake “big” for “fat.” There’s a difference.
If you’re squatting and deadlifting (at least) 2x bodyweight, then you are more likely big rather than fat. But if you’re pitifully weak with a high bodyfat percentage, consider yourself a fatty.
Go on a diet.

By a skinny tall guy that shows off his skinny belly thinking he’s the shit for being into soccer and having very low body fat percentage? By the way the abs weren’t even buff. He obviously doesn’t know what bulking is for. I hate that sob.
When I could squat and DL double my body weight, I was far from big.
Well, we could go on-and-on about whether someone is “big.” Are low-weight but incredibly strong PL’ers big? But that’s not really at issue here.
It seems pretty obvious this young man takes up a fair amount of space. (Else he would not have been called fat.) The issue thus is whether he takes up space because he is big, or because he is fat.
My answer to him was this: If he’s strong, then he is also likely big. Or, at the very least, he can proclaim that he is big. Even someone with a high bf% but who can lift a lot of weights, can get away with this. (I.e., the Iranian Oly lifter at Athens 2004.)
My best guess it this: The poster is a fat high school student who happens to lift weights but is not very strong. Instead of recognizing his own weakness (he’s fat), he deludes himself into thinking he is big. I knew guys like this in high school and college.
And I always felt sorry for those guys. I knew they would never reach their potential, because they refused to recognize the truth of their situation.
