Calisthenics for 6 Months, Progress Slower Than What is Normal

We understand you. We just thing you’re wrong and, at this point, irredeemably set up to continue failing.

Interesting little trick with language.

“Nobody understands me” asserts that I am fine, and it is the entire world that is wrong.

“I am not understandable” asserts that the entire world is fine and I am the one that has a fault.

Imagine the hubris necessary to assert that 7 billion people are mistaken and that you are the only one with the correct answer. At least my misanthropy is accompanied with self-loathing.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bigger bullshit excuse than

“It’s too hot, I can’t train”

I live in the Middle East, and workout daily in the sun. Surely you don’t think your apartment in Germany is hotter?

Heat index was 115 degrees with 90% humidity while I was in an uninsulated garage with the door closed during this training session

You can track the heat by the sweat PRs.

But again, this is why I love this thread: he’s compiling ALL the reasons people fail into one topic.

So far, we have

-Incorrect self-diagnosis

-Unwillingness to endure discomfort

-Incorrect interpretation of studies

-Extensive downtime

-Non-compliance with training programs

-Inadequate nutrition

For any new trainee that comes to this forum, this will soon become required reading.

And what you do is also not good.
I would neve recommend this to anyone. Doing such hard exercises in such conditions.
I find people who train in such conditions dumb. Sorry. You are donig yourself no favour.

I may be dumb, but I have muscle muscle muscle.

You will have to forgive me, but in truth, if I had your approval on how I trained, I would change my training.

7 Things No One Tells You Before You Start Lifting Do you really have pain every morning and feel like a untrained 120 year old woman? o.o,

The article doesn’t say it’s satire.

And regarding your training videos… you look like a random bone would stick out of you any second… that’s not a compliment… i am fucking scared

No. I’m not sure why you’re asking me that question, as I’m not the author of that article.

That makes sense, as I’m a scary person.

Aren’t you afraid that something will break in you if you use so much weight? You don’t need your body or?

He wakes up every morning to a job. Own house. And a feeemale.

You should try it.

ya but does he wake up like a old person with pain everywhere because of his training?
sometimes i wish i would be a normal person like you all
but usually I am very happy i am not such a boring normalo

We see a glimpse of the true underlying issue. When he says “I lift to failure” what he means is he lifts until the point is starts feeling difficult, under the assumption thats the point where his body would suddenly break under the strain.

With a pathalogical fear of physical exertion you are certainly never going to see progress. You might have alittlebitofeffortaphobia. Maybe get diagnosed for that?

Things have already broken.

And then they got better.

But I’m glad you’ve added to the list: fear of injury.

I don’t think anything will break when I do such easy tasks. Chin, ups, push ups. Nah. Not scared at all.
I once had inflammation in elbow ( a very big inflammation, full with fluid)… for weeeeeeks. Fucking annoying. I wasn’t scared of that. But I am scared of what could happen to the guy who deadlifts weights like @T3hPwnisher and others.
Nothing is better after it breaks. Nothing.
Again. not afraid of injury in my current state.
I don’t think we can apply fear of 500 kg deadlift to some push ups.

Once again, speaking outside your realm of experience. You’ve not broken anything: you don’t know.

Meanwhile, I have. It got better.

Keep building this monument. I love it. I realized I have almost double the posts of anyone else in this thread. It’s been a great time killer.

What do you mean with got better?
As long as you learn something from this thread.

Your body doesn’t change if you only give it easy tasks.

That you ask these questions is once again proof why your conclusions on studies are poor.

Oh for sure: I got at least a few more blog posts from this. It’s been great.
