It doesn’t stop that. You should know this the best. Huge amount of people stop going, bcs. they see no results after few months.
We discussed my solution many posts ago. If you believe you have medical conditions, get them diagnosed by a professional and get a treatment plan in place. If you’re not willing to do these, there’s nothing I’m going to be able to do to help you.
Agreed, however you didn’t even start going.
And yes, many people do stop when they don’t see results in a few months. Many people also drive without seatbelts and smoke. Many people are stupid.
Just for reference by the way, my dad has been actually diagnosed with aspergers, by an actual doctor. He currently trains in a public gym 4+ times a week with no issues.
I can take as much meds for my thyroid as I want, that won’t make me gain 0.5-1kg per month -_-‘’
And regarding esto, this means I have to lie to the doctor that I have errection problems. WIthout this the insurance won’t pay the testo test
Exactly: this isn’t what is holding you back. Good to come to terms with this.
you just don’t want to admit that calisthenics builds muscle
I never said it doesn’t.
It just won’t for you.
And you’re a terrible example of calisthenics building muscle. That being said, there are people who can do one armed muscle ups, and they’re shredded as shit, but, y’know, they practiced for years instead of giving up.
Forget about this site then and go join a callisthenics website. Maybe even PAY one of these youtubezz gurus for some coaching.
Even better leave the internet, get a damn job and start playing some sports.
Haha I was just kidding, making fun of the OP here.
Really though, your progress has been awesome, keep it up!
Honestly, the last time I saw someone advocating so hard for a method that clearly failed them was in the Starting Strength forums.
@T3hPwnisher then weight lifting also won’t help
That’s a silly conclusion to draw. Another reason I doubt your ability to read studies.
This site could publish a pretty entertaining book made up of just these weird threads.
Skimming through this trainwreck of a thread I felt compelled to add some semi coherent thoughts about calisthenics vs. lifting weights.
Calisthenics is excellent for raw beginners, especially during the first six months to a year. It builds discipline, tests resolve and most importantly from a psychological standpoint it has a very quick positive feedback loop (“hey, I can do a pushup!. hey I can do 10 pushups!” and so forth)
It also eliminates routine ADD for beginners who, brought into a new environment that is the gym, may have problems adjusting to a wide array of options to pick a weight and do something with it.
Also, older lifters may benefit from calisthenics by taking a break once in a while and focusing on the calisthenics fundamentals for a while - it’s a nice mental wake up call, especially if you’re the fat strong guy that can’t do a pull up.
The range of personalities we see on here (and in life) is crazy. You have people who have everything stacked against them, that use it as motivation to do everything, and then you have people who believe they have everything stacked against them, who use it as an excuse to do nothing.
Imo, you guys are totally being trolled right now.
I can’t say that’s why this dude started the thread, but that’s where he’s taken it for a while now.
My .02.
i am not trolling, liar.
thank you. and now tell those “wannabe strong people who don’t do calisthenics” that you can gain muscle with cali.
Literally no-one has said it’s not possible. Looking at the training logs of those that have advised you, all of them do some form of calisthenics regularly, as part of a well rounded program.
What you’ve been told repeatedly is that the methods you are currently using to build muscle are not working for you at the rate you want.
