Calisthenics and Weight Training?

*No this isn’t a thread about whether one is superior than the other.

Hey guys, so I have to meet some requirements for Fitness screenings in a year and I have to get my bodyweight exercise reps up. Examples are getting to around 100-200 push-ups under 2 minutes or more , same with dead hang pull-ups (maybe aiming for approx 40 reps) etc. and I would have to train for endurance when running (high 13s for the beep test). So I’ve decided to start doing some calisthenics to train for functionality and endurance.

However, I have a gym membership and have been following a solid beginner program and making good progression for nearly a year now and don’t want to look too small either if I decide to do calisthenics. How would I go about combining these two, if that’s even possible? Or is there a better solution, maybe seperating the days?

The current workout I do is created by all pros beginner routine (2 working sets of squats, bench press, bent over rows, shoulder presses, rdls, finally calf raises and bicep curls)
Thanks in advance

Have you tried to do this screening before/how close can you currently get to the standards?

No I that’s why I’m working up to it. The only screening I’ve done before is PFT.right now my pushups is pretty bad haven’t been maintaining it since last screening about high 60 and pull-ups are about 20 in 2 minutes

Pull ups, PFT; this for the Marine Corps?
