Calgary, Alberta

Hey guys, I am looking for a little help. I am graduating this spring from the University of Texas and moving up to Calgary, Alberta, to be with my Fianc?e. I am having a hard time finding a job or even lead in spite of Calgary?s booming economy. I know that there are a bunch of Canadians here and I am hoping someone can help me out. A little about myself:
Male
22 years old
Major: German
Minors: Business and Philosophy
I am a competitive natural bodybuilder
I will NOT need to be sponsored for a work visa (I am getting married in July)
Thanks guys, PM me if you want my resume or any other info.
Matt

I hope you two already have a place to move into. Housing is short in Alberta.

The jobs will pretty much almost come to you once you get there. Finding employment prior to moving there can be much more difficult.
Like was already mentioned, hopefully you already have some type of living arrangement secured as that can be pretty tough to achieve in Calgary.
See Ya

At the worst if you cant get anything lined up prior to moving up to Calgary, just go to any new residential area, and any of the crews would gladly take on some help. If you want you can pm with what type of job your looking for, and I can try and point you at a place that could help, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks for the info guys, I want to teach, but that route seems unlikely as I need a Bachelor’s of Education to teach there (I have a BA). As for the living situation we have a few options so I think I am ok there. I may just go up and see what is there, I can do manual labor, however I would kinda like to put my degree to some use. (yes I know it isn’t widely applicable)
