Calf Training at Home?

What exercises can I do at home to increase and maintain calf strength? I do not have access to a power rack or any calf machines.

I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot. The discomfort and pain is enough where it has changed my walking pattern. I am concerned that my calf muscle may atrophy. I have seen a podiatrist and have been fitted for an orthotic. I perform various plantar and calf stretching to relive the discomfort.

Ever tried “standing” on a street- hockey ball? Maybe a smaller, hard ball like a golf ball?

Single leg calf raise with a DB in one hand works well.

You can also hang a weight on a lifting belt (hangs between you legs) and do calf raises on your stairs.
