I love your body weight deload workouts. I’m going to have to steal them. 5 sets of 10 pull ups is awesome. How often do you train pullups? Do you do them on both your military and bench day?

To be honest, I pull as often as I can. Everyday or at least every other day. I dont go a day with out at least 1 pullup in it. Thanks.
Print-- well I think they are pretty gross and unkept by now, I will stick with standing next to the heater and warming up.
Bobbi – yea you def. for sure have something to taunt me with. It is eff’in cold here now. I would love some sand for sure.
Main- I will remember your recipe when I come in frozen from feeding cows or chopping ice off the water troughs. Thanks!
Nikki-- start bustin them pullups out all the time and you will be doing em 10 at a time too!!! Thanks for stopping by ![]()

Mid 60’s here on T-day. Here is Va. btw. It’s hard to get into any kinda holiday spirit when you’re wearing shorts & tanks, unless of course the women are wearing them too.

This city girl is willing to out her hands ANYWHERE for some Montana summer air.
seriously I’d probably be more in the way than anything else though. lol. But I’d try my darnest. I could be your resident chef too!! mmmmm elk. This daydream is going somewhere.
Love the willing spirit… that goes a long ways in getting the job done. Btw way for all you out there, it is -10 degrees right now and with the wind chill it is -25. Very cold in these parts!!!
I SO am not looking forwards to winter
Stay warm chicka!!
11/23/2010 Tuesday
diamond pushups 2 x 20
uneven pushups 3 x 15 (each arm)
Lying hip raises 2 x 20
Hanging Knee Raises 3 x 15
That is all I did today. Tomorrow I am going to do my burpees and some more BW stuff. Starting to feel recovered finally - gonna be ready for them weights ![]()
I’ve actually been looking at Montana as a decent spot to call home. I like the outdoors, I love the cold, and it’d probably be a good fit for my personality. I do believe I’ll have my coworker check this log out, as well. I’d like for her to see what she can do if she just does it. Good stuff!
That’s so cold. Do you have any space heaters in your garage? I want video of you squatting in the snow suit you must be forced to work out in.
We’re just coming out of the other side of that nasty arctic air mass up here today. Woke up to -29F yesterday morning, but today we’re in for a high of 5F. By the weekend we’ll be hitting 32. Crazy temperature shifts.
Beast - MT is awesome place to live… There is plenty of cities of decent size to make a city person pretty happy and the wilderness is so close that even a country type person can get their fix. I live in the middle of no-where but that is by choice, I work hard to keep it that way :). I dont mind the cold, since it is part of the deal. I grew up with it and dont have sense enough to know any different.
Nadia - Lol at you video clip, I love that movie!! I do have some little propane heaters that I put in my little workout area. I might have to find an alternative place to go when it is this cold though. Just have to see, it would mean waking up at 3 a.m and driving an hour to a gym - ugh does not sound like a great time to me. When I get really rich I will build a gym with heat, insulation etc you know a proper one ![]()
Laststand - Oh yea I hear ya on the weather. I dont mean to get hung up on the weather but it is a huge thing for me since I am out in it so much. YEsterday I had fed my heifer calves & it normally takes 10-15 minutes but cause of the cold & things that hate trying to work in the cold (tractor) it took me 45 - 60 minutes to get that one thing done. Add 8 inches of snow to that & it makes it a miserable morning. But I am kind messed up in the head cause I dont mind it, kind of enjoy the challenge of trying to get things done when mother nature has different ideas.
11/25/2010
60 burpees (still need to get 120 more for the week)
now off to sit in the car for a 6 hour drive to Spokane. Hope the roads and weather behaves. People are stupid though and it is hard to account for them, but we will try. I got to say I upgraded my phone to the droid incredible & I freakin’ love that thing. I dont know how I managed my life with out it, well not really but freak it can do a ton of stuff and I can literally keep my whole day/life in that stupid little thing. Technology is so cool sometimes ![]()
safe drive
I like that pull up concept. Very cool.
I know, people can’t drive anywhere. It gets very religious in my car when we have to pray to get to our destination in peace ![]()
Enjoy your Turkey day!
