Awesome training. You continue to amaze.
7/11 Monday Evening
40 minute bike riding ----- found lots of mud and water!!! It was more of a push the bike thru the mud than ride the bike, but I made the most of it and tried to keep moving so the mosquitos didn’t overtake me. I forgot my dang bug spray!! I will get back to the trail and get all the way up to the junction before I run out of time.
7/12 Tuesday
Conditioning
10 minutes of
backward sled drags (35ft or so)
med ball slams x 10
Didn’t keep track of how many rounds but it left me sweating, puffing & huffing.
Then finished up with 50 burpees, since it has been like a month since I did any - which I am sure is a sin in the holy book of exercising!
7/13 Wednesday
squat
140 x 3
155 x 3
160 x 5
120 x 10
125 x 8
130 x 8
135 x 6
G.mornings
70 x 12
75 x 10
85 x 8
standin ab rollouts (SRO’s)
x 2
x 2
x 1
sled push 40 meters (roughly) 175lbs x 6
I Made a video of the SRO’s. It ended up making the video upside down but you get the idea.
Upside down SRO are freaky! Nice training.
hehe cool vid!
now you got me wondering what an upside down bench/squat/dead would look like. lol.
that some serious core strength. I need some of that.
If it’s a sin not to do burpees, well then…
Nadia —Freaky for sure, I made that video and didn’t realize it til to late - oh well I’m just glad that I got a chance to make a video. I have been so busy haying that i haven’t even had time to breath anything but hay dust filled air!
N~ IT would just look purely AWESOME ![]()
MIM - keep doing what you are doing and it will come!
Walking backwards gets to me. Backwards sled drags, awesome.
Did you buy a sled or have you just assembled something on your own. I’ve been thinking of figuring something along those lines out, but am poor.

I bought a prowler, from elite fts. It was about 350$$ I know that there is some info on the web about building your own for a lot less money.
I’ve seen where you are keeping your new ‘home,’ at. ![]()
I can’t post there so I hope that you will come by here every so often!
MIM~ yea got to keep a log there as part of the team… it seems to much bother to update both of the logs, but I s’pose I could.
thanks for stopping by ![]()
No problem…
just glad to see you doing well and working hard. I’ll keep reading ya over there. ![]()
Sounds great MIM. Yep working as hard as ever.
here is my a.m training from this morning.
8/10/11 wed
A1. bent over row fast twitch reps 3 x 10
B1. Med ball slams 3 x 10
C1. Bent over rows 4 x 10
C2. Bent over rows 4 x 5
C3 med slams 4 x 5
D1 Bent over BB Rows CG 6 x 6 , 2 x 8, 2 x 10
D2 bent over rows wg 6 x6, 2 x 8, 2 x 10
D3 t bar row 6 x 6, 2 x 8, 2 x 10
Took a strap and looped it around the bar on the t bar rows and it made all the difference in the world. The first set without the strap I was hard pressed to feel it in my back properly. Hooked on the strap and it was immediate, solution found!! Great training, as I said in the post above my back is a bit fatigued from the bow practice but it will come around. The rest of the workout was great, the 2" hold is pretty intense game changing tool!
I did wonder where you’d got to. I hope you keep on dropping by - your work ethic is inspiring.
Still around and training like a maniac!! I got the IndigoG-3 Program am keeping my log over there since it is part of the deal if you want the coaching and help. I’ll post the link so you can check it out over there, also I am thinking of updating this log too - since most people can’t post in my IG-3 log.

Update from this mornings stuff…
8-18-11 Thursday A.M session
Squat Complex
ramped up on the front squat before starting the complex. Got to 170 for 5 reps and then scaled back to 160 for the complex
Did 4 rounds of the complex
A1. top 1/2 squat
A2. Front squat - this felt good, depth felt nice and my quads were on fire
A3. Pwr snatch - bumped the weight up on this one, 105lbs. 3rd week of the program, time to move the weight
up and drop my reps a bit
A4. Jump squat - used my KB for this
A5. vert jumps x 10
A6. backward sled drags 185lb x 40 meters
I wanted to do the legs more but i knew that my time was running a bit low and still needed to get my other complex in. so then I moved onto the next part of the training
Oh Press complex 3 rounds
B1. SEATED top 1/2 oh press - previous to this i have been standing but it has not been working the way I wanted. finally got a good set up for the seated press and was able to hammer these out with out any issues.
B2. MIl Press - felt pretty strong here. 120lbs by the last set I was at 3 reps. But the form was solid and no shoulder issues. Nice feeling
B3. Push Press - these are improving very nicely. I felt as though I should have bumped the weight a bit but i am still working on making sure my form is a 100%, as I fell as I had lost some form in previous weeks.
B4. Med ball push press - these were feeling really great and #9, #10 were by far my best reps on all the sets
B5. Plyo pushups - I have moved to a lower spot for theses but they felt real good and i feel as though I am getting back some of my explosiveness for sure
B6. Sled throws x 20 meters , what can I say other than I absolutely love these. ![]()
I have been hitting it as hard as ever but I ran into some computer issues and have just got back my computer yesterday, spent most of what computer time i had then doing program installs, updates and getting the new one the way I wanted it! Back in business now though
welcome back ![]()

So n8tive, are you part of this Indigo thing? I see you have a log there. I’m interested to know if it actually does make a difference. (If you can talk about it?)
