Busted Knuckle Garage Workouts

Have fun with the trails - outdoor exercise does the soul good, I think.
And sigh, your deload workout is better than my regular workout. But you are a terminator.

Thought of you while I was away being near all the farming and stuff.

Are things settling down a little bit for you?

MIM- Things did slow up for a while, but now I am in the start of cutting, harvesting etc. After the 4th it will be balls to the wall, morning til night kind of thing. You know them tractors have lights and we use them too, kind of stinks but it does leave a person feeling like they accomplished something for the year.

last night I put about 12 miles on the mtn bike, it was not the ride I have been planning on doing but it was a great ride with gorgeous scenery - so no complaints from me

this morning finished up my deload stuf

Great little bit of training here, left me feeling refreshed and like a million bucks (if I knew what a million bucks felt like). If I get the chance i will hop on the bike and put some miles on it today but I have a busy agenda today fixin broken equipment - just have to see how smooth things go for me.

I’d come be your farm hand!
You ever thought of hiring someone to take on the daily chores so you can take a couple days off every once in awhile?

that’s a strong close grip bench! Blows my mind how much stuff you get done in a day.

How many hours of sleep do you get again?

MiM- that is a lovely thought, hiring someone to do my daily chores every now and then. But at this time it just ain’t feasible.

N- I usually go to bed around 9-10 & then get up about 5 or 6 depending on what is going on. So anywhere from 7-8 hours of sleep.

Good training today - my quads were on fire from the sled drags, oh my goodness. The pressing was strong. I am liking the upright rows, think I will keep em in the mix for a while. Not much else to report on right now. I took yesterday off I am hoping to put on epic miles on the mtn bike this weekend, we are going camping, I plan to ride a whole pile!! We are leaving tomorrow - so I will lift before I leave tomorrow and that is all for lifting til Monday or Tuesday.

Epic mountain biking in here, indeed! That’s a sweet ride you’ve got there and the scenery is just breathtaking. Hubby and I ride a tandem mountain bike, balls to the wall and the scars to prove it.

Happy camping!!!

Btw, solid training. Are you still doing the show n go program?

Kimba - a tandem mtn bike sounds dangerous! I can’t even get my hubby to peddle with me down the road on a bike of his own - there is no way that he would ever get on a trail with me and then go down or up with me!

MiM- I am starting up 5/3/1 again. I made it thru show n go, I liked it well enough - but I am a sucker for wendlers 5/3/1. So simple and easy, I love the fact that if I have to I can just do the main lift and then go but still make proress.

hey mama! we’re both getting back on 531… yay!

where you camping??? so jealous since i know there are six million awesome spots in ur neck of the woods. dreamy!

Deja - I am heading down to the centenial valley (past dillon, thru lima) – my in laws have some property down there.
