Busted Knuckle Garage Workouts

I love that floor. At some point I need to redo the flooring in my flat, but seeing as it’s a studio, I’d have to move out temporarily. And right now I can’t be arsed. Still, it does look very nice.

Veggie- thanks doll. I am always inspired by your training, you make me train harder!

5/9 Monday

4 mile run before training

Bench
135 x 2
145 x 2
150 x 2
130 x 4
135 x 4

125 x 8 x 3 sets

Rope pullups
3 x 6

Db Upright row
25 x 10 x 4 sets

Elevated feet p/u
3 x 10

Mil Press
65lbs x 8 x 2 sets

Dips BW
x 8
x 6

I am still feeling a bit fatigued from my 170lb bench last week - feel a bit stretched in the chest dept. But nothing to serious, just tapered it back a bit today & did what I felt comfy doing. The Mil presses were strict and being at the end of my training I was pretty fatigued in the shoulders. THe feet elevated p/u I had my elbows TIGHT against my side and that always puts a ton of emphasis on my shoulders (anterior). Felt the burn today
Oh and the running is coming right along. Gonna plan to log 6 miles tomorrow - ---- this race can’t come soon enough

You do all that after a run? Wow. Just wow.
And amazing benching.

a run and a crazy bench??

sheesh. the benchmark is high.

Cal - I am trying to focus a bit more on my running, I figure if I run first than I will get it done and also I will get better-er at it.

N- thanks doll! You stop in and make me feel real nice all the time

Training was 4.5 mile run

Kind of tired and run down today. I slept very poorly, I dont think I ate enough yesterday. I fed cows this a.m & came home, made some food (I never eat b-fast) for breakfast & then took a nap. Woke up feeling human & better ~ really had to force myself out the door for the run - UGH!!! Anyway I am going to bed soon & hoping to get a good rest and wake up & train hard in the morning

i posted in here but it didn’t show–basically saying how awesome your training is, and how jealous I am am more…

Great job!!! …and you pulled thru today too, props for pushing yourself when you feel crappy

mmmm, naps…

hope your feeling great today!!

5/11 Bear hunting & training

I was going to run but my 5 yr old asked to go Bear hunting - so we went looking for bears in the mountains. Let me just say that taking a 5 yr old Bear Hunting is more like purging the forest of any living thing and doing with the most noise possible. AAAAwwww it was a great time though & we had us a fun time.

Training went like this…

Front Box squat
135 x 2
140 x 2
140 x 2
140 x 2
140 x 2
140 x 2
140 x 2

Prone Row
3 x 10

Rack Pulls
210 x 6
230 x 6
235 x 6 (my hillbilly setup for the rack pulls broke about this pt)

HRL
3 x 8

DB Lunge
55 x 8
60 x 8
60 x 8

Land mine
3 x 10

tri extension
3 x 8

Box Jumps
x 50

Prowler — 5 minutes

Hmm my legs are very tired after my Hunting trip… the training went well. I set the bar down on my hillbilly cinder block set up for the rack pull & it just smashed it like a pancake

Ooops
