I was dead after this workout, in a great way though. My posterior chain was begging/pleading, crying and whining at me to stop. I told it to shut it mouth and do what I say!! Went & took my kids gopher hunting, ate a huge rib eye at the local steak house and then took a soak at the local hot springs. It was a great Sunday :).

My hubby & I installed a new hard wood floor in our front room yesterday, I always call these events “marriage strengthening” events. We are so different in our thinking, working & communicating that these thing can be a huge chore just from a working together stand point. We are getting better at it though & this went together with out a hitch - we worked our butts off and got it done and we are both very pleased with how it looks  Nothing like do it yourself projects to make a house feel “new”!

Your training always inspires. I’m always just amazed at your strength! Glad you were able to get away for a few days. Steak and hot springs sounds perfect!

It was perfect Puff! Thanks.

your workout cave is freakin cool!! YEAH!! I always check in here on my bench days…to get hyped up…arhhh!! You’ve got incredible upper body strenght!

lol’n at the gopher hunting!

Your training always looks strong! I’m forever wowed by your benching.

Lucky cowgirl lives by hot springs. I love hot springs but haven’t been out west to visit one in way too long. My favorite is in NM.

I’ve gotta hand it to you (and your hubby) on the home improvement/marriage strengthening. My long ago ex and I were slowly driven apart by a house that rivaled the “money pit” house. I’m very proficient with sledgehammers and power tools though as a result, so at least all was not lost.

Hey everyone I will get to your comments later and post a picture of the floor later on, but I wanted to post this real quick before I run out the door for the day.

I can’t remember where I read this at or where it came from, but be motivated!

“Mental toughness is born from facing tough situations or environments and surviving them. Don’t baby yourself. Don’t coddle yourself. Stop being such a prima donna”

“Realize that sometimes the thing that motivated you to train hard yesterday won’t be the same thing you need today to optimize your mental state. Be “bi-polar.” Be versatile. Flip the switch and adjust. Do what works for you that day”

mainy~ I will get the pics up later on, my house is still in a state of disarray & I can’t find a freaking thing right now. The steak & Hotsprings were AWESOME

Brute~ thanks for dropping by, glad that I can help ya out

Deja ~ anytime you want to go gopher hunting point the car West and come on out!!!

Veg~ Yep Home improvements are essential on our house, parts of it are “old” & parts of it aren’t. My oldest son has asthma and we are hoping getting rid of the “dust trap” of a carpet will help that out some.
PowerTools Rock!
