Ha! The bad experience was a smoke-session that consisted of ONLY this exercise. Our coach became the devil that day. And solidified his status by cramming all 40 of us inside the sauna, whilst throwing water on the rocks. The things we went thru at All-Army/WCAP training.

love those diamond push-ups!!
do you recommend getting push up handles or do regular dbs work? Or do you not use them?
I realized that after all this time I’m probably not doing push ups correctly and just letting the elbows flare out too much…wah
I dont use anything for my pushups, once in a while I do them on my meds balls or cinder blocks but for the most part it is just a plain ol’ pushup. Yea keep your elbows into your side but just a side note - If I keep em tight tight and do a any amount I start to get some ?pain/strain? in my front delt. you may not get this and it took some time for it to develop but it happens every now and then, so I let my elbows out slightly and then it dont bother me. Weird but yea.

OKay so it was a pretty solid workout, nothing amazing or life altering so I’m happy with it. I have just been in the zone of training go do my thing, in & out , move on with the day. The db rows were pretty good too. The band GHR’s left me almost unable to walk last week I am hoping that I did not over do them again today. Guess I will find out tomorrow ![]()

Easy breezy and beautiful. Another workout that was just a workout, Nothing spectacular but it felt good. I am in a weird mood lately - kind of indifferent I guess. Feeling as though I am going thru the motions - which is fine I just need to keep working out and the fire will come back soon enough. Not to worried about this, just stating the attitude that is going into my workouts these days :8

40 minute of rucking (50lbs)
okay so yea I am thinking of what I need to be doing/acheiving for next. My current situation is leaving me feeling less than accomplished, which I hate. Still have not reached my pullup goal, weight goal (130lbs), deadlift goal or handstand goal. Time to re-evaluate and see which direction I want to go in over the next couple months… Time to figure it out. I also have a 10Mile run coming up in June that has to be addressed. dont mind me I am just doing some thinking out loud here. Be back later with the answers ![]()
