Congrats on loss!! We also have a trampoline and the kids are on it daily, I get a good giggle in too. We were finally able to get some weights and a pull up tower yesterday so putting it together is the plan for today!! I’m pretty sure we are doing the 5/3/1 as well and look forward to the progress!

Awesome - super excited to hear this! On the 5/3/1, it is a great program. Don’t be over zealous and jump up to much on the lbs. Just take it in the small increments that is prescribed and you can’t help but make progress - promise. Sounds like you 2 are on the right track ![]()
You mentioned that you think your bench is your “strong suit.” I would agree. I’m pretty jealous. We’re pretty much the same size and I’m lucky to put 110 up for reps.

We call those “Crazy Ivans” or “Twist and Shouts” or just simply “torso twists.” Either way, I don’t like them. Had a bad experience with them once.

i got up to 95+ for walking lunges…got a vid if you want to check it…i was told I was leaning too far forward, so I backed down and haven’t really done em hard core like that since…
will have to give it a go again since I have a nice space to go ‘there and back,’ in my backyard…
I’ve never held more than 50 lbs. doing walking lunges. Color me impressed.
