The V-Diet sounds extreme. I can’t believe that you can diet that hard, train that hard and work that hard. You my dear are a machine.

Well the V-Diet is pretty extreme for sure, but I have been on a very disciplined nutrition plan for over a year or so - I eat pretty paleo-ish and usually IF most days & eat one meal in the evening. SO my eating habits is pretty non-conventional to begin with. Seems to work for the most part.
I say paleo-ish cause i definetly use supps & ain’t “hard core or extreme” about it. Just use the basic principles of it I guesss. Anyway enough rambling on now! Thanks nadia

Um my grip is still fried from the farmers walking yesterday - so it made every aspect of this workout pretty hard. But all in all pretty pleased with the workout considering I did a pulse fast yesterday. Woke up late today, shoved a fini-bar in my mouth with my cup of coffee & went down and crammed my workout in. I went to bed last night dreaming of my fini-bar and surge… don’t know what to think of that, but I do love my workout nutrition. Btw I am down 6lbs & 2" around the waist. Official weigh in is on Sunday though. I always weigh before and after a Pulse day though. Okay off to get my critters fed and take care of my sick calves. I got to put some IV’s in a couple calves that I had that are sick - so that is kind of cool. THey are 100% better and ready for the IV to come out, so gonna do that this morning  Yea for healthy calves.

6lbs and 2" off the waist since when??!

Since Sunday the 6th. I am on the 3rd day of my diet “plan”

Congrats on the success and the kick ass training! BTW…the husband picked up big ass tires ranging from 100-400lbs today to bring home, I’m so friggin stoked!

Thanks!!! That is so awesome on the tires, you will have such a great time & I got to say you are super lucky your spouse is on your board with all the crazyiness!!! It makes it so much more permanent for you all. Great stuff.

You’ve lost two inches in three days? How?!!! WTF!

It’s the pulse fasting with the MAG-10 that does it. It is probably my favorite thing in the world. I am a huge fan of the pulse feasting with MAG-10 too, that is my normal way of eating. Pulse during the day with the MAG-10 and then eat at night for about 2 hours.
Dont know if you ever read the article or not but here i will post the link.

Wow! That’s awesome. Good going!

I know what you mean about the family making it harder. I’ve got a 15-year-old son and his friends who run cross country and track hanging out at my house. I like being the kool-aid house so ya know there’s gotta be some munchies around. Then my little girl’s munchies. Then my husband and his munchies. It takes some serious fortitude. I do stuff like stock Doritos because I don’t like them. My husband has to have Ben and Jerry’s in the fridge all the time and I can completely leave that alone so I’m OK with it. Anything small and chocolate - like M&Ms - I make them hide so I don’t know where they are.

I’ve enjoyed looking back through your log. Your training is fantastic stuff and your ranch reminds me of home.

IV’s in the calves, do they try to take them out? what did the poor creatures have?

yeah for healthy calves

I’m seriously jealous of your tractor weights. They look perfect for farmers walks.

Nice job, as always, on your training. Can’t believe you did all that w/your grip compromised.

Good news on the diet and the the healthy calves!

Keep rockin’ it baby!

N- the calves had really bad scours & were very dehydrated - so just some saline in the old blood system and get them back up and going. I had to chase the buggers down today to get the IV out of em - oh & I tape em to their neck so that they dont rub it off or anything.

Veggie- thanks doll. The weights are perfect for the walks, I think I am going to use 1 of em for OH Carries. That would be a good plan with em. Yea my forearms were screaming by the end of my workout today  Yea for that!

Having already been an IF type, can you feel the difference with the pulses?

Yes I can, put some Power Drive in there & you are set for the day.

3/11/11 Friday

I feel like I have training ADD over the last week. I have managed to stay somewhat focused but holy heifer it has been tough. Anyway I got my workout in this morning… Btw I have been sufficently ravaged from these simple, easy no brainer workouts. I have been left wrecked, sore & tired from these short quick workouts. Hmmm may not be in the shape I think I am or something. :frowning:

Anyway workout today went like this
rest 30 seconds between sets total of 25 reps in set of 4-5

front squat
145lbs - 4, 5, 4, 4, 4, 4

CG bench
135lbs x 5
140lbs x 4, 4, 4, 3, 3, 2

Chinups ( i missed a set of chins, didn’t realize til just now - Brain dead ADD crazy woman)
+35lbs x 4
+25lbs x 4, 4, 4
Bw x 5

PushPress
115lbs x 5, 5, 5, 4, 3, 3

In & done. I am taking tomorrow off for sure, I plan to sleep for 10-12 hours & eat some food, get ready for the upcoming week. Bring on the rest & recovery, depending on how tomorrow goes I might rest on Sunday too. I realize that I have not really taking a back off or recovery week in a long time - not sure that I need it but a couple days off will be a good thing

Nice training especially on a calorie-deficit. Enjoy the rest and the food. One more week of the diet, right?

That is the plan, depending on how I weigh in tomorrow I may changes up the plan a bit… we will see. Thanks Veg!

cool your still keeping it heavy…
I’m gonna run my own two week hell (diet) week after next.
