they felt slowwwwwww & hard today - mentally I was slow I guess. I just wasn’t in the deads today - ugh. Thanks for chiming in. Where do I need to improve?? thoughts, suggestion, ideas?[/quote]

Woman! Just slap yourself, cuz you’re talking crazy! Those deads looked damned good to me (slightly biased, as a man). There was nothing slow about them, nor difficult. Sheer awesomeness…

good stuff!

Okay so I have increased my eating over the last month or so, to try and put on a bit of muscle and I tend to eat to much when I am tired…so I have been constantly tired & hitting the nuts, fruit and nuts & some more nuts a bit heavily. No real bad stuff, but just to much of the good stuff.
Time to slim back down to where I like to be. It will be intersting to see how I slim up this time and look, with this new muscle that I have packed on. My pants still fit good - a bit snugger but not busting at the seams or anything. Heres the plan, for me for the next 2 weeks. I am a bit of a experimenter so bear with me and no crucifying me

v - diet
monday (lifting)
wednesday(lifting)
thursday
friday(lifting)
sunday (dinner meal & conditioning circuit)

MAG-10 Pulse fast
Saturday
Tuesday

So the plan is to do this for 2 weeks & see how I feel after the dust settles. Now I did the v-diet last year about this time in the year. Since then I have done several mini-v diets & usually I fast once a week. This won’t be to much of shock to my system, but it will take some serious self control and committing on my part. All the while still continuing to feed my family, which is always the hard part. Nothing that I can’t handle for the next 2 weeks though. Okay so there ya have the plan and I am hoping to get some pics taken and measurements done by Tuesday.

I saw your V-Diet before and afters - quite a dramatic difference!

I definitely hear you re: the fruit and nuts - I’ve been doing the same and am now trying to undo the damag. I’ve done the V-Diet myself and results were OK but not spectacular, and certainly not good enough for me to want to put myself through that again. I can see its appeal but it’s certainly not something I would want to do when it’s still cold out. Good luck anyway, I hope it doesn’t affect your training too much.

Speaking of which, impressive numbers there.

I love me a woman who can fix things.

your deads looked spot on to me and good luck on the diet.(now to hunt down the pics Cal mentionned)

Good luck w/your diet. Can’t wait check out your pics. Training looks solid, as always.

I love before and after pics! It should be an interesting two weeks 'round here.

30 seconds rest between sets

bb row (underhand grip)

140lbs x 5

95lbs 4 x 5

w8d dips
+35lbs x 5, 5, 4, 4, 2

ab wheel rollout 4 x 5

Loved the pace of this workout, it was great. I actually feel pretty good about this workout. I am eating a finibar before the workout btw, I am going to do 1/2 one from here on out if I can & then scoop of surge after my workout. See how that goes. Other than that good stuff & feeling pretty good. Need to squeak in a few naps today though.

Top o’ the mornin to ya n8tive! Thanks for lettin me stop by and check this out. I can only inspire to lift that much and your form is oh so pretty! Makes me realize just how far I have to go lol. My 65lbs is a snack for you. How old are your kids? My desire is way higher than my ability to get in and lift with my toddler. My 10 yr old is never an issue but her dance and school schedule can be. I’m still trying to fit it all in and steal some time for me. At any rate, I’m glad to have you as friend and an inspiration!

Give it time and be consistant, you will make great progress. After you finish the v-diet get started on 5/3/1 or a program that is similar - take advantage of your beginning gains & you will be unstoppable.
My kids are 8 & 5. I have the luxary to train at home, so I can go anytime I want & can make it work. I am not opposed to letting them train with me either. I started with some serious bodyweight only work, that is a lot of the reason I think I have such a relatively strong base too. Once I started to having to strap 90 extra pounds on my pushups I figured it was getting close to investing in some plates & bars. Anyways don’t get discouraged and plan for the long road not just the next 28 days…
Thanks for dropping in btw, come back again!

This is solid advice.

3/8 Tuesday

farmers walk
72lbs/hand
5 x 50 yards
1 x 25 yards

Grip is fried! Am planning on repeating this on thursday & saturday. I like farmers walks but my weights have been frozen in the ground, I finally got ambitious and dug them out. The weight is now in the house. Odd weight I know, they are tractor weights - very slim w/ a handle about a foot & 1/2 long. Perfect for this very thing
