can t you appeal that on the grounds that the rental income isn’t profit or disposable income?

mitigating circumstances, first offence and a good pre-sentence report. you won t get much time if at all.
the bad thing really is the potential confiscation but at least your out on bail to sort this stuff out. trying to do it while on remand is no joke.
i was in pentonville in london. fucking horrible place. half run by the screws half run by the cons.
you ll be fine on the “good behaviour” thing as you have to act like a complete prick for it to be deemed bad behaviour.
you ll be like a saint in comparison to most of the scum.
i remember walking in and looking up the landings with the wire mesh to stop people jumping over and seeing all the cons leering at me just thinking. “hmmm this looks exactly like i ve seen on tv. oh shiiit…”
theres two things people always want are heroin and tobacco.
the prison shop isn t exactly a shop its called “canteen” which means they send a form around and you can only buy a certain amount of stuff. and it gets delivered to your cell. a lot of my stuff was fucked up. like bags of oats with airholes that hads let in spilt washing powder sao whole bag is ruined. things like that.
there were tons of cockroaches and mice in the cells. and most days we were banged up for 23 hours a day.

when i was in there there was a “mirror” newspaper expose’ of the prison chaplain caught smoking crack in a crack house. turns out he’d remortgaged his house behind his wifes back and blown it all on crack and heroin! and that was the vicar…
you ll only get into fights if you owe money for heroin or tobacco which you won t. or if you ve got a mobile phone people will truy to nick it off you. learn to say no a lot.
try to get a decent cellmate you can talk to as prisons are full of absolute retards and you ll want to kill them after a while cos they never shut the fuck up…
all the muscle dropped off me in the first month because lack off protein. and they limit how much you can buy cos they don t want the already massive cons getting any bigger. shit loads of people on roids in there.
you won t be able to get any needles in there so forget about that. although if someone were to have something else on them it would come in handy.
you re a big bloke so you ll be ok you just have to lay the law down with people a bit

the food itself isn t that bad its just not massive portions.
its definately an experience and one thing in your favour is you re gonna know from day one exactly when your getting out. so you can tick the days off.
i was basically abducted off the streets in my car. never been done before. banged up immediately and on remand for 7 months before i had a clue when i was getting out. so it was the not knowing that was the worst thing.
i honestly can t see you getting more than 18 months which divide by 2 is 9 months minus 4 months tag out in 5. topps…

yeah you would probably get a cat c/d immediately. if that ahppes you will be sorted as it will literally be like a holiday camp.
jails like pentonville are called dispersal jails cat a and b then when people are sentenced they get sent on to the appropriate level. only prob being cos the jails are so full there just staying. and while you re on remand they keep you in the local prison cat a/b.
ha ha you can t take mobiles in with you. but they are there. you ll be shocked by how much heroin dealing/taking goes on. i got a phone of these guys had to pay 300 quid for it though.
no-one has chargers so you charge them with batterys in a rolled up magazine with wires connected to the back. and the same guys spent the rest of the time trying to steal it back.
it might not be that easy to walk into a gym job as its seem as like the most high status job in the jail and they’ll likely be some huge 350lb meatheads ensconsed in those positions.
the next best jobs are on the servery cos they take massive portions of food for themselves. it might be ok where you go but the portions in the ville were fuck all.
after that you ve got cleaners. these are guys that hang around on the wings all day looking to do petty trading of bits of heroin for themselves. most of the time they like it cos they can keep their ear to the ground and find out who’s got what.
but with your roid knowledge and probably size you ll probably be able to get a bit of respect down the gym and feel less threatened in general once you re seen chatting with the hard cases.
yeah bad thing is i would be very surprised if you got a single cell cos they generally only keep those available for murderers doing serious time or absolute fucking nutters.
cellmates smoke constantly… tobacco. heroin, teabags, whatever they can get their hands on. and the windows barely open so i used to stand on pipes to try and breathe in fresh air.
yeah and a lot of them have the tv on all night watching absolute bullshit so when you get woken up in the morning with the screws barging in the cell to check it i felt knackered all the time.
but seriously the worst thing for me was not having a clue when i would be a) going to court b) getting out to a better jail c) getting released altogether.
and i was on for much more serious drugs charges than yourself.
really lay on the sob storys to the probation service that will do the presentence reports about how sorry you are and were naive etc. because the judge really takes notice of their recommendations.
so if they recommend community service its like ly you ll get it.
its a bit of an experience when you first get in there waking up like “holy shit” i m in fucking prison! how did that happen. and you ll probably find it funny for a while.
but then all you here people talking about is crime all day and night and all the young guys think there fucking tony montana or something…
but it will stress out your bird more than it will stress you so avoid it if you can.

want to hang out with your own race,prison is self segerated for the most part.
I noticed that people talked to everyone its not racist but example you ont want to eat dinner at the blacks table if your white.
stay away from the homos, no mater how open minded you are the gays in prison without a doubt have the hardest life in there.
find who the leader of your race is and find out the rules they have in there.
I know the prison has rules but to be honest you dont want to folow them,follow the inmates rules after all they are the ones your living with.
dont get too chatty but dont stay too distant either.
usually the horrible ones are scared to tell what they did or they chat everyone up because they are making up a story to cover there real crime kind of like the chomos and such and you sure dont want anyone to assume your a pervert,but dont make up something to seem like a big bad criminal either,the cons will without a doubt find out the real reason why your there.
prison is its own society with its own rules and standards and the guards play a role in it as well.
if it comes down to spending time its all about adjusting,once you adjust you will be fine
hope it dosent come down to that though
