Bush's War On Porn!

“Early last month, the bureau’s Washington Field Office began recruiting for a new anti-obscenity squad.”

Somwhere, George Orwell is laughing. Hard.

"Christian conservatives, long skeptical of Gonzales, greeted the pornography initiative with what the Family Research Council called “a growing sense of confidence in our new attorney general.”

Why can’t these cocksuckers live and let live? Because they’re mindless lives are shit, does not mean they have to make mine.

“The adult obscenity squad . . . stems from an attorney general mandate, funded by Congress”

This is a blatant sign of facism. This is pathetic. I am disgusted.

This mollycoddling finds its roots, where? Mean old, baby eating red-state thinking?

Obviously in the rich, coastal, elitist Northeast.

baby eating red state thinking huh? I’m not even going into this one. But obviously Republicans are far tougher because…they think less about human emotion? Eating babies is badass I guess…

I view this more of something that congress can do to show that it is against anything immoral as opposed to opening up as opposed to any measures w/ teeth. Im not going to go down this slippery slope path and all that. Its just 8 officers wasted plus a boss or two. The govmnt knows that even though porn is technically illeagal under obscenity laws it is way too hard to prosecute and the judges/ DA’s involved probably have girls gone wild all over their house’s anyway.

I know that the FBI will just put the people in this that are career failures and dont deserve any kind of real responsibility. Im sure that all they really do is put up kiddie porn even though they are supposed to be against all kinds of porn they have to show that they are doing something but i doubt they will put away more than 10 people for regular porn in a 10 year period b/c of the reasons given previously.

IMHO - thabigdon

Jimmy Carter is a serious Christian , but he once did an interview w/ playboy magazine. He said that he did it to give an awnser and spread his faith - by being a christian influence in a otherwise smutty magazine.

I used to be a christian but now im really just an agnostic b/c i dont have any faith/knowledge about the existence or not of any deity.

Frickin Canadians and their inferiority complex…did you guys ever notice how you’re the only ones making a case for who is better? You can tell when you’re the best because everyone else is trying to drag you down. When Donovan Bailey was running the only important medal at the Olympics was the 100m sprint and it was headlining every newspaper[in canadia] because that was the only gold canada won…what are you guys celebrating now? Remember when we won the first world cup of hockey? Nothing but tears from you beatches. Don’t hate us for being better.

Top 10 causes for celebration by Canadian beatches.

  1. Live longer, happier lives (for less cash, too) than southern neighbors: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0223-01.htm

  2. Language not yet diluted with Ebonic idioms such as “beatch”, eh? French forever safe, s’ti.

  3. Fox News now available on cable under “Humor” category.

  4. Canadian Stupid War Detector™ in good working order: avoided Vietnam and Iraq.

  5. C?line Dion not here anymore.

  6. Laughing at Americans claiming to read “every Canadian newspapers.”

  7. Lovingly send US president bags of pretzel as tokens of affection.

  8. New Jersey not part of Canada.

  9. Laughing at Americans claiming to read any newspaper.

…and the top cause for celebration by Canadian beatches:

  1. Two words: Canadian beer.

WHOA. There was absolutely no cause to insult New Jersey in there. ABSOLUTELY NONE. You want to insult New York, go ahead. Make fun of Texas…we all do anyway. But to make fun of NJ was out of line. I thought your list was funny. Now it sucks. NJ is the most liberal, progressive, richest, coolest, best looking, smartest, most densely populated, and…a whole bunch of other good shit. BACK OFF. Don’t make me pull out French jokes.

Riiiiiiight.

Prof X: Have you ever admitted to being wrong? Have you ever been wrong?

Vroom: Are you Prof X’S bitch? Just wondering, you are always up his ass!

Niko,

What is your problem? Did ProfX tell you to shut up and eat or something?

Boohoo.

If you’ve been around here any length of time you know that when people are arguing politics they step in when the see what looks like nonsense from the opposing viewpoint.

So, are you able to add anything to the conversation or is this it? Pretty pathetic if all you can do is throw lame insults at people you disagree with.

Uh, what am I wrong about? I noticed someone making a generalization. I made another in a sarcastic attempt to point that out. What was wrong? Do you even know or was this the one chance you chose to gain enough courage to write a response?

If you have been on this forum for any length of time you know the answer to that question…

I’m so ashamed.

Actually Detructi-cons were several Decepti-cons that were construction type vehicles which assembled into one giant Transformer. I can’t remember it’s name though.

Mod Note: DEVASTATOR![/quote]

Oh man I was so ready to jump all over this one. Devastator was the first transformers toy I ever owned. He had this sweet purple fist that shot out like a rocket. It was so cool.

Except he didn’t make a generalization, he was no less general than any of vrooms points yet you took it to the utmost insulting extreme. The smarmy “it’s ok that your fat” ideas floating around are exactly what he was referring to, where did you get any generalizations out of that? You’re just pissed because those particular sentiments come out of the liberal camp, who you defend with blood everytime someone says anything about them.

I don’t defend that attitude at all…and that is the point. Being fat and unmotivated isn’t a “liberal” problem. It is a problem in all of society. Where do you live that all of the conservatives are in shape and all of the liberals are complete fat asses?

I own over 20GB of porn, I guess now that makes me a bad person.

Sigh, the problem with porn is that you generally keep needing new material. Even 20GB won’t be enough.

However, buy some larger hard drives today before the government finds a way to shut it down entirely.

No actually it’s not. I have on several occasions admitted to being wrong on these threads. One such instance came when I questioned the money being spent on NASA. I admitted that I recieved a good education relative to all of the advances that have come because of the space program. Go check the thread if you like.

Now why don’t you tell us all the last time that you admitted (on this forum) that you were wrong on even one issue?

How long would you like us all to wait? LOL

You are so silly, it isn’t even funny. The last time I was asked this question, I gave the link to the post it was last done (This was just asked in the Political forum this summer). If you want know, do a search. If I’m not wrong, then what pray tell do you have a problem with?

I should be wrong more often just to give you something to feel satisfied about?
