Dude, this is a “war” on porn. This is not only a policy I don’t like, but it would appear to be the start of a trend of pandering to the Christian republicans. Let me give an example (its not the best comparison for obvious reasons but it will do). Here in California we have a democratic legislature that INSISTS on giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens. No matter how many times it is shot down, they keep trying. Im all for a liberal border policy but who in their right mind would advocate handing out official ID’s to an undocumented immigrant in the wake of 9/11? Now I dont know about you guys, but in this instance, their pandering may end up hurting this country far more than Bush’s 8 anti-porn agents.
I dont want the Rainbow Coalition influencing my government anymore than I do the Chrstian Coalition. Neither party believes in limited gov’t anymore (if they ever did) and both pander to their respective bases to the detriment of our political and economic freedom (and in my opinion, you cant have one without the other). “Neo-cons” are no worse than their “liberal” counterparts (on a side note, I hate the way those two terms are used…both are misnomers IMO.)
