Gore reinvents himself every 5 seconds. He really loves the polls doesn’t he? Every debate revealed another personality and none of them were real, just real annoying. I’ll admit that Gore is a great debater, some might say master-debater. He comes across very smooth and ‘slick’ when talking about various bills and numbers. The problem is he that he either has the wrong numbers, doesn’t understand the numbers, or simply makes them up. After 24 years of ‘public service’, I guess he figures people don’t know the difference. Gore doesn’t just exaggerate, he’s a flat out liar, and bends truths to try to mislead people.
His big slogan during the debates about the 1% wealthiest getting the biggest tax relief is just one example. Of course these people get more relief, they pay the most in tax! A 1% tax cut for a person making more money, will of course equate to a larger dollar amount than the same amount for a person making less. Tax reduction percentages would be greater for the lower income brackets though, than those of the higher tax brackets.
Both parties have major problems and our whole political system needs an almost impossible to do makeover. Our government is way too bloated and wasteful, and needs to be reduced. It sickens me to see people that think the government is better off with about half the money that they make than what they would be with it. Bush’s plan still doesn’t go far enough in fixing this problem, but it is a ton better than paying even more taxes with Gore for more government programs.
We also don’t need to put a smug asshole in office that doesn’t know how to deal with people. Can you imagine how Gore would work with foreign leaders? Absolutely none of his programs would get done while he was in office (which would be good) because he can not work with people to get anything done. He couldn’t even handle a few debates with a retard (joke), even when helped by a very democratic town hall audience. What a joke! While both candidates plans have a bunch of questions on how they would actually work, at least Bush’s would actually get done.
It’s also funny that while Bush is not as smooth a speaker as Gore and basically played by the media as a dummy, it is Gore that was actually the worst student, making C’s and D’s throughout college. I don’t believe grades mean crap though. What matters is who can lead the country and be able to get stuff done, without partisan crap. What about the Dingle-Norwood bill? Give me a freaking break. Who cares, he should have told him to stick the Dingle bill right up his ass. How pathetic, we need someone that will work with people and not my bill does this, or mine is better than yours. My bill promises more girth and fitness bunnies in every lap!
Clinton and Gore aren’t the ones to thank for the economy or that the stock market had a major crash this past week. Clinton has been very lucky to come into office just when the PC was starting to become mainstream and the internet was very new to most of us. Major PC sales and internet usage didn’t really get going until around ’92, and’94 is probably really when the internet started taking off to consumers as a whole. This led to a whole new means of communication and a lot of new startup companies and money being poured into the market. Many of these companies are now bankrupt or about to be. Sure many have made money in the market during this period if they had the right stocks, but how many average people really have it better? Is our economy and peoples lives better as a whole? The answer is no.
Well, this has gone on too long. At least I was able to share my view thanks to Al Gore and his wonderful invention, the internet.
