DEC 4TH

STRONGMAN CROSS TRAINING DAY

Went out to my buddies place in the morning, we got about 2 inches of snow over night. Not enough to really do any damage, but enough to make things messy :slight_smile:

So… here is what we did…

sled pushes, sled drags both frontwards and backwards, as well as sled rows…

the we did some battle ropes… these are freakin’ killers…

then we did some heavy bag throws, carries and slams…

the we did some tire flips and sledge hammer work…

then we did some grappling work with one of the Soviet wrestlers who actually attended the Russian Olympic camp on several occasions… but was never “picked”. What an animal… this was fun.

So… we tore up my buddies lawn pretty good, soaked to the ass and covered in mud and snow… he invites in for a coffee… his bride was real impressed. So, we sat in the garage and discussed how GSP is gonna kick Koscheck’s ass next weekend.

Koscheck is such an arrogant and rude little s.o.b., I hope GSP shuts him up for good.

When you do the strongman stuff do you have a set routine? I’m trying to make some set routines I can use instead of winging it.

Outstanding lifting and some different stuff with the strong man and grappling. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Hey Eco, no set routine… we show up and just throw a bunch of stuff together that looks like it will hurt… and do it. If it doesn’t hurt, we change it arund until it does. It is a lot of fun Hel!
