Well, thank you all for the input - it is appreciated.
We went to another studio to see what’s up and they tested her today. My little badass just went up to level 3 and team tryouts start up in 4 months (for all students).
She’s got her work cut out for her, and she always does best when that’s the case. Reminds me of someone i know.
Not that I would have any idea, but I would be concerned that the coaches were as talented at the new gym as the old gym.
My eyechrometer tells me they are significantly better than the old coaches. The structure of the class, what they’re having the girls do, the equipment they have, and the atmosphere tell me this was the right choice.
When i say “atmosphere”, i mean in the sense that when your walk into a serious gym - you just kind of know. Chalk on the floor, no gimicky shit, clearly aligned with purposes of competition.
Certainly a valid concern, but those concerns were set to rest.
