Bulldog: Working on regaining man card

Few more days until Dakota hits the Platform…

I don’t know anything about SI injuries, but I remember hearing that Preparation H is good for pain in that area, and also for making your cellulite less noticeable next time you’re wearing a sparkly bikini. I hope this is helpful, Bulldog. Unless we’re talking about kids, that’s about all I know about pains in the butt.

I hope you’re back on your game soon. Have fun with your son’s meet.

 I wish it was in a location that Preparation H would take care of it!!!

Sorry to read you’re injured. I hope you feel 100% real soon. Looking forward to seeing how your son does at the meet. I hope he hits a bunch of PRs.

Ha! I know it isn’t funny, but I couldn’t resist. I know a guy at my gym had an SI injury and he’s no longer doing the Oly lifts, but I do see him doing squats again. I believe he took some time off with it and then came back doing a lot of single leg work. If I run into him soon, I’ll ask.

As much as I would appreciate the offer …hold off until I have 100% verification that is my issue…

Pretty Pissed at the moment… been a week and I havent heard anything back from my Doc regarding my MRI results.

The injury thing is honestly becoming a broken record on my end… If one think is health something else is either jacked up or pissed off anymore.

Ill be honest if my son doesnt hit some good PR’s im going to pretty pissed at myself …because it will mean I didnt do my job in coaching him.

Well we will be taking Dakota to school next Thursday to get him settled into his dorm. My wife will be a freaking emotional wreck .

Jesus. That kid is a phenom and gifted technician at such a young age!

He looks like a graduate of the snap school of squatting – to the floor!

Thanks…probably because i tend the push the technical aspect pretty hard along with being very uptight about getting things right…[quote=“kpsnap, post:1215, topic:200807”]

Thats the only think regrading his Meet squats I would like to see change. I agree as cool looking as a ATG squat along with no way of questioning his depth. . BUT when your giving up major weight in a Meet doing it that way different story. If he wants to squat that deep fine but id like to see him bring it up slightly for Meet training.

Strong work by Dakota. Form looks great on all 3 lifts.

I avoided crying when I dropped mine off, but it wasn’t easy.

When you get home, tell her to stay out of his room. And DO NOT under any circumstances go home and start looking at all his baby pictures.

Congrats to him on his meet! Very, very fun to watch that. What a neat young man.

Bulldog, once again great job on raising that kid.

Still need a few tweaks on the three to improve his numbers. :confounded:

Im terrified that my wife will take it out on me… I will be walking on egg shells for awhile I think.

thanks …

Normally I would give all the credit to my wife.

But in this case I might take a little bit of the credit

Your comments on squat depth in the meet video made me think of this.
You may or may not want to show it to your son. Ha! You’ll see why. I like Alan Thrall’s video tutorials so much.
