Um…what are you implying there??:confounded:
Actually im out of practice and not condition too do them at this point…Like I mentioned a few weeks my motor should be humming.
And I can see your log just fine
I know…

Bulldog, I think we all know you’re really using your son’s photo for an avatar. That “burned at the stake” red herring doesn’t fly.

If it’s a somewhat younger you then it’s great motivation. In that case you aren’t tired, you’re just better.

I forgot to add I also pissed on his burnt carcass :scream::smiling_imp:

What is this " Old Tired Bulldog" shit? Get a. Grip man! Pull yourself together! ( closest thing I could find to a smack acroos the face) lovingly of course

LOL… Ok OK OK. Just dont Hurt me!! Im a delicate flower

Bench: A few warm up sets
4 x 2 x 300
AMRAP 300 x 10… weight moves up 5 lbs next session

Buffalo Bar Bench:3x5x165…was going to use 60% of my 1RM but Have no clue on this best estimate. bump up weight by 5 lbs next session

Seated BTNP: 135 x 15… aim for 18 reps next week

It will be interesting too see how the first mesocycle will turn out over the next few weeks

Glad to read no issue(s) with your shoulder. Stay healthy.

The shoulders are fine… Once I actually started working harder and not babying the right one as much it cleared up.

Luckily the tweak in my hip is starting too improve that I was able to actually get into my normal set up for bench without feeling like I was being impelled.

Squat (Buffalo Bar) Bunch of warm up sets

4 x 2 @ 355 *
AMRAP: 355 x 10… Honestly, had more reps in me didnt push it weight goes up 5 lbs next week

 • working off a conservative estimated 1 Rm due to How dodgy the ride side of my glute /hip is acting. This approach also starts at a lower % in its first mesocycle.

GHR : 4 x 10
Barbell Row: 2 x 12 @ SW
Barbell Calve raises: 5 x 10 @ SW…Havent done a calf raise movement in over twenty plus years. Lets see if doing so might increase the stability on my walk out.

Ugh took awhile for things too start feeling ok on the right side. Spent the entire day yesterday walking around the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. So I was feeling slightly fatigued.

Crap !! Dakota is in a negative Mental state with his squats… overthinking the hell out of them.Gotta to reign him in. Only one more heavy squat session left before his Meet.

Putting my ego on the shelf, taking some advice from a physical Therapist i talk with on occasion. At the moment Im pretty sure by the symptoms im expression that I have developed a case of Pirioformis syndrome. Her suggestion is to hold off squatting (also pulling I assume) for the next two weeks too allow the Pirioformis muscle a chance to calm down and go from there. Also going to see the family Doc who also does chiropractic care and look things over.

Speed Bench: 8 x 3 @ 50% dropped the weight from last week from 60%. Got some good bar speed and pop will nudge the bar weight up next week.

Dips: 2 x 12 @ BW will bump up reps next week. I suck !!! Should have went to failure on these Soon as I hit 20 reps i plan adding weight. Honestly just happy that for some magical reason my shoulders are not protesting at all.

Band pull aparts: (did them with a twist) 3 x 30

Well, at least that Pirioformis syndrome stuff ought to take your mind off shoulders for awhile. Good tough resiliency here as usual.

Go figure, the shoulders are good and now i have too deal with a little bitty tweaked muscle in my buttocks that happens to be in a bad location.

I know what your saying Bulldog but something about your last post just sounds wrong.

Bulldog, I’d invesitgate ^. You already know DBasler is a trustworthy poster.

@DBasler @biker …smart asses Im not referring to my sphincter muscle.

Jeez. Get your mind out of the gutter.

I actually live in the gutter…

Did some Band assisted Pull ups 5 x 10 alternating from over and underhand. Felt a few things starting tto fire back up . Still going to be a few sessions before Im back doing these un assisted
