Best wishes on a quick recovery.

Thanks to all for the best wishes…
Well they found i was suffering from acromion impingement so they did some grinding and scar tissue removal. Also a small tear in the labrum which they sewed up.
here is video from part of procedure.

Pshaw…wait until they start beating your current lifts…does keep you motivate though.
Hey…did your shoulder pain come and go? One day my shoulder feels like hell, literally can’t lift my arm over 90 degrees…then the next it feels fine…the pain follows benching or overhead pressing days (surprisingly)…I’m just wondering if I have something really torn or broken why it wouldn’t hurt every day…
Thanks and good luck with your recovery.

Well…I originally guess I tore the Labrum last year and kept lifting with it. I can actually tell when. Also I was having impingement issue I wasn’t aware of. What you were describing above sounds similar of what I was going through . Have you seen a Ortho about it yet ? If I may I would suggest one who specializes in athletes .

Been putting off going as it costs me 35 bucks and typically the guy I go to just laughs at me and tells me to quit lifting heavy weights…he’s actually a really cool guy and stitched up my achilles tendon 15 years ago and somehow he thinks we’re like buddy buddies which is fine, but not when I’m in agony.

Luckily, me and my Doc are on the same page…and he gets it.

ugh dont remind me…lol
well since im off work for the next 12 weeks I will fill my time on line more often.

good GOD…the pain pills that ive been prescribed are getting me stoned.
GREAT… coming down with the Flu I think. Guessing my immune system has taken a hit from my procedure slightly , but I could be talking out of my ass.
The pain pills could be the culprit in lowering your immunes system. One hand gives the other takes.

Good point… I didn’t think that between the pain pills and anti inflammatory they have me on could be doing a number on my system in that regard.
