Here you go…

When my friend and his girlfriend have sex I can imagine it closely resembles this

Reading your thread makes me feel like a bit of a pussy, it also makes me feel like I might be a moron since I was actually expecting the type of Sumo video you posted, it took me 30 minutes to realize you were all talking about Sumo Deadlifts. Carry on, I’m going to put on my helmet.

I am going to be a Sumo wrestler in another life.

Waiting on conformation of appointment with Orthopedic doc/surgeon who worked on my right shoulder years ago after asking for a referral from my family physician . Woke up Wednesday morning with a major issue. Afraid that the left shoulder might have decided to give up the ghost on me. At this point not sure the the severity…all I do know is that my ability to do any external rotation of my left arm is limited. Basically it is as if my left shoulder is locked up.My gut is telling me this might turn into a repair job.

Good luck Bulldog. Hopefully some manipulation of the shoulder brings relief rather than needing surgery.

Unfortunately, too many of us know the shoulder repair situation well. Keep us posted.

Good luck! Shoulder are one of the worst designed joints in the human body.

To be truthful … I think it past the point were any type of manipulation or physical therapy will do anything. Went that route with the right one and it was a waste of my time. Im thinking this might just be nothing more then a clean up job much like the one before. That is unless I have torn something , which I don’t think I have.

Yeah ,that’s no lie. the notion of surgery doesn’t phase me as long as its nothing major. What will bother me the most is the rehab portion.

Ok im pissed…Ive allowed three business days for a call for an appointment with the orthopedic Doc. I think someone dropped the ball at my physicians office.Thinks its time to raise hell…

Yes, raise hell. Hope your therapy goes well following the surgery. Recovery is a bitch to endure.

Hot Damn my wife called the orthopedic office and raised hell …Monday the 4th at 1:30. Glad I wasn’t trying to get into a urologist because my dick would have fallen off by now.

Well like I have told several people I know already I tried a little experiment last night. To get a feel how bad the left shoulder is compared to the right which wasn’t really smart on my part. I used a 30lb db and did a seated single arm press for 50 reps until I got Bored. But with the right I did a whole 3 with the left and cried like a girl… Yeah i would say the left is shot.

I am sorry to hear that. Keep us posted.

will do

They’ll fix, just need to bite the bullet and rehab it right after…good luck!

Friggin’ medical community thinks they are on mount Olympus looking down at us. Well some of em’. Looking to see you recover and come back strong however you can in your time.
