Not very heavy? You sure know how to make a guy feel good about himself. 500# is my max!..for now.

I didnt mean to come across that way. Let me rewrite that so it reflect the true meaning.

Totally agree, which is why I rarely get into any e-fights, as Id rather argue in person to really see where the person is coming from. Ohh and I bet people would be less demonstrative face to face and less apt to insult. Also this is a forum and site where if your gonna put up stats and talk about how you should lift, the correct way to build a physique yadda yadda you SHOULD post pics and vids or else your words dont mean shit.
Yep the whole concept of a E-fighting is just stupid in my book. The whole notion of arguing on line about training principle with someone is just retarded. More so when you don’t know who your really arguing with. I don’t see a purpose in it . What is the point for a guy like me arguing with some kid on line who has been lifting maybe a year, whom I might out weight by 80 lbs and who can barely squat 200 lbs? Honestly I have better things to do with my time. Also your right half the people probably would not be all Billy bad ass if they where face to face with whom ever the ripping on. Hell yes !! Talk is cheap a person should be able to back there shit up. Other wise they need to just shut up and sit down a listen.
I love the way, every 160 lb teenager on earth can bench 400lbs and deadlift 500lbs. Why bother lying to people on here. Its very weird to me.
Tell me about it ! Right now you would think every other guy on this site is able to post a Elite total.

I kind of know the feeling. I went from 350# to 500# from 4/09 to 8/09. It hasn’t gone up a pound since. Granted, I have had back issues, but it was like I hit a wall.
I will get through the wall, mind you. It is just a matter of figuring out if I need a spoon, a pickaxe or dynamite.

Me too. Whatever would the point be?
I find myself frustrated and depressed at times when I venture out of the O35. All the cattiness and know-it-allness and general lack of civility. Drives me crazy.
I gotta say that I really enjoy the folks in this forum. A good lot, to be sure.

RANT WARNING!!!..revisiting a old rant read at your own risk.
Ive been going out of the over 35 forum and been looking at a few of the others forums on this site. Big mistake on my part I know. I cant help but wonder what % of of the people aren’t what they say they are. I hate to use the term Keyboard lifters…but if the shoe fits. Honestly ,what number of people whom post are using some made up Internet persona? I don’t know it just kind of bothers me when I see guys trying to come across as Gurus but yet they have never posted pics of themselves or videos of themselves. God forbid ,you ever question some of these guys regarding there actual qualifications to give out a shit load of advice… Maybe im just odd in that way I view things. But if someones going the play the role as Guru then in my book they had better be willing to post something to back there claims and to verify at least the fact they actually train. I guess its just a pet peeve of mine. I know its the Internet and its the way it is but does anyone else ever gets annoyed with it?
This.
If a person doens’t have videos or the appearance to back up their words then I ignore them.

Well in my case. After read threw my log book. I think my main issue is I need to get my head out of my ass. Basically I just need to quit over analyzing the lift and just work my ass off and be consistent.

It comes down to credibility. Lets be honest if some of these guys would post there actual numbers. Most people would ignore them more then likely. Who going to take advice from 17 year old kid who can bench only bench 95 lbs. So you get people who over exaggerate there numbers so people will give them the time of day.

Thanks for the compliment.
Trust me there are guys whom Ive come across that I find that I really have to bite my tongue.
That’s the thing, you get all these guys with book knowledge but jack and shit when it comes to actual experience. There’s nothing more funny or more pathetic depending on your point of view. As when someone who has a year or less under the bar who wants to spew out there opinion on everything regarding training.
When I go to sama its like im a two year old… I just look at the pics… but hell I cant get that in the over 35 forum also…
as far as what you need to do… well dog I would say just more of the same as what you are doing now… lift heavy shit and enjoy it… someday we will stop being so competitive with ourselves.
YIPPY!!! My new wrist wraps came in today. Along with a copy of the documentary Power Unlimited.
Its just to bad it didnt have the impact on Powerlifting as Pumping Iron did on Bodybuilding.
