Way to go, my man. Deeper than the other guys at my gym do 'em . . .

Nice work Bulldog those looked plenty deep enough to me![/quote]
Thanks, Yeah there deep enough. I always get paranoid when I see the view from the back. But my wife was calling depth for me on the side. I’m just waiting for some one to say they are high. Which they do from the cameras point of view.

Well, I’m not doing cart wheels just yet. At most that session was a fluke. Got a ways to go until Ive reached manly man status.

Thanks, seriously …how high do they squat.
Great work! I’d definitely be happy with that session! Yeah, that’s just a poor angle to judge depth from.

I seem to have the distinction of being the only guy there that breaks parallel, at least from what I’ve seen. Everyone else I’ve seen does either half squat or quarter squat. One or 2 guys squats about the same weight I do, one lady does less weight but barely bends her knees, a few guys do twice what I do but still about half the depth.
And don’t get me started about the folks “squatting” on the Smith machine . . .
Awesome squatting brother, inspirational!
The song choice works. Id say your at manly man status!

Powerful squats, BD, and yes, I am with Cav…squatting on the Smith machine make me want to wish that I had heat vision to burn them. I seriously want to slap them.

Thanks James. I’m thinking maybe Ive been selling myself short on squats.

Oh hold on. I spaced it and forgot you had relocated and was no longer at the one gym you was going to.

Inspirational?..hardly. Maybe sorta of interesting and that is the most.

thanks. Ill be honest Ive told people at the local YMCA that the most productive thing that could be done with a smith machine, is to melt it down and reforge it into plates.

3/14/12
Warm up: light DB and band movements:
Bench: bar x 20
95 x 10
135 x 2 x 5
180 x 5
220 x 4
255 x 3
295 x 2
350 x 1…Heaviest Ive went since October, Felt awkward and loose bringing it down ,paused it and blow it off my chest pretty darn easy.
295 x 12… Left maybe 1 or 2 in the tank
Incline bench: 225 x 10/8 … at first distracted by large fake breasted mid 20’s girl wearing skin tight tank top doing incline sit ups, whom wanted to start up a conversation with me. Why? I have no idea.
Seated DB press : 2 x 6 x 80…These sucked ass, I was already fried from benching didnt help I had to stand and clean these into position.
Tate presses: 3 x 10 x 50
cable curls: 2 x 20 …I didnt feel like going heavy just wanted to get some blood in the area.
Wasn’t as bad as I thought. I figured id be wiped out from squatting Monday, It was funny I went to the Y because of the DB selection. The guy who spotted me with 350 asked me how much it was. I replied , “only 350”. He looked at me as if I was weird and said ,only? I mean I was just being matter of fact . I guess its a matter of perspective. To me being around lifting for awhile 350 seems mediocre. To the guy spotting me it was unusual.
350 is unusual to me too so I don’t blame him for giving you the weird look.
Solid work. 295 for 12? Nice.

I take back what I said about being close to your numbers on most upper body movements. I did 290 for 8 last week on my first week of a 531 program and I didn’t have any left in me. 295 x 12 is excellent work.
I hear you on the seated dumbbell presses, working out by myself at home I also have to clean them into position from the floor, a while back I worked up to 100’s- I spend more energy getting them into position to do the set than I did during the set.

Maybe she’s attracted to men who shit themselves when they squat?
3 x 500 is crazy. Crazy! Wow. Nice, nice work.

Thanks. I’ve just recently started adding higher reps into my training. I use to do so when I was younger where I would work up heavy then do a back off set for reps.

I use to love doing seated DB presses and going heavy. I just started doing them again because of the fact I honestly don’t get much actual direct deltoid stimulation from doing standing MPresses since im very Tricep dominate.( The M pressers are going to ask for my head on this one) Like you mentioned the bad thing about doing the darn things is just getting them into position when you don’t have anyone around to help. It definitely can rob a person of reps in the long run.
